It comes after the Primark store on Sauchiehall Street in Glasgow took to social media to show off reduced summer shopping.

The Scottish-based chain gave social media users an up-close look at the seamless cropped ensembles, leaving many in awe.

But you won’t find these looks in the women’s section – they’re actually children’s sets and are on display in the women’s section.

The women’s section ranges from ages seven to 15, but fashion fans are doing their best to fit in the stylish ensembles.

The sets, which are available in different colors – red, black, pinkelectric blue, light blue, grey, black and lilac – were once £6 but have now been reduced by £2 and are down to just £4.

Alongside the clip, which showed the sets’ ‘new lowest price’, the chain wrote: “Girls Seamless Short Sets Now Just £4!!!!”

Known for their laid-back style, short ribbed sets will certainly turn heads this summer.

Perfect for pairing with sneakers for a fun athletic look, the cycling shorts’ stretchy fabric and matching crop top provide flexibility and comfort.

Sizes range from XS to XL – but you’ll need to act fast if you want to snag a set.

The TikTok clip, which was posted with the official @primark.sauchiehall account, clearly left many speechless, as it quickly racked up a jaw-dropping 461,400 views.

While a second smiled: “So cheap.”

At the same time, many Primark fans tagged their friends and loved ones to warn them about the reduced sets.

The history of Primark

PRIMARK first opened in 1969 as Pennies in Dublin, hoping to offer affordable fashion in Ireland.

A Primark store officially opened as Primark in 1974 in Derby.

The retailer now has 193 stores in the UK and 441 stores worldwide, with a target of operating 530 stores by the end of 2026.

One person alerted a fashion fan and said: “We need to go, love.”

Another mentioned a friend and added: “Trip to Primark pending.”

A third user tagged a Primark lover and commented: “We need to match.”

While one woman tagged a friend and shared: “Look beautiful in summer.”

Why is Primark the place to go for bargains?

JUST how does Primark do it? Continue delivering fashionable items at such incredible prices? According to the bosses, it dropped to four points.

  • They “sell a lot of items” – thanks to this they are able to save money by buying in bulk for their 191 UK stores
  • They “do very little advertising”
  • Although their clothes offer the “latest trends,” they “do not use expensive hangers, tags, or labels.”
  • And finally, they try to be “as efficient as possible when transporting products from factories to stores”. This includes things like asking “suppliers to package our t-shirts so they’re ready to go straight to the shelf.”

Not only that, but many shoppers shared that they were lucky enough to get their hands on the reduced sets.

One fashionista smiled: “I bought the green one, it’s so cute!!!”

While someone else chimed in: “I literally just bought this for myself to sit in the garden, I’m 14.”
