That’s because a Vinted seller who made a staggering £300 on the site in just a few days has revealed her six simple steps to sell success.

In a clip shared on TikTok (@kay_robertson), professional MUA called Kay begins: “How I made £300 on Vinted.”

Firstly, she explains that taking “quality images” is essential to portray the condition of the piece.

And while many of us have been led to believe that it’s best to keep prices low to catch the attention of bargain hunters, Kay has some rather different advice.

Instead, the second-hand seller advises pricing items a few pounds more to “allow for offers.”

The genius at Vinted also highlights the importance of including descriptive details for each listing, as this will appeal to a much wider audience.

Sharing an example of an item she previously uploaded, she reads the caption she wrote aloud: “Primark boyfriend jeans size 12.

“Would fit size 10, new with no tags, never worn pets and smoke free home.”

Not stopping there, Kay also encourages Vinted sellers to “be honest” and says that “if an item has a flaw, then always declare it and take photos.”

She adds: “Then post as good or satisfactory condition.”

And last but not least, the social media user states that “packaging is important” and that it is worth trying to “sell in packages”.

And Kay isn’t the only Vinted genius to share her top tips and advice when it comes to the popular online marketplace.
