PUSH-UP bra sales are enjoying a huge boost – thanks to Netflix’s raunchy hit Bridgerton.

Sales of the “Balconette” – which gives women a Regency-style silhouette – soared 61%.

This makes the bra this year’s best-selling lingerie style.

The craze for showing off a fuller figure also got a boost for padded push-up bras — made famous by Wonderbra’s 1994 Hello Boys ads featuring model Eva Herzigova.

The Balconette, which became successful thanks to names like Marilyn Monroe in the 1950s, has wide straps to lift from below, giving a tall, full shape.

Experts say its popularity is being boosted by voluptuous Bridgerton stars, including Nicola Coughlan, who plays Penelope Featherington.

This month, she declared herself “proud to be a member of the perfect breast community.”

Liz King, of online and catalog retailer Freemans.com, said: “Breasts are back. Like so many ’90s fashions, push-up bras are back vogue with Gen Z shoppers. Meanwhile, Balconettes are the choice for shoppers who want a sophisticated, elegant style.”

Sales of high-rise briefs also increased by a third. Liz said: “Bigger panties are the perfect counterbalance to Balconnette bras as they offer comfort, control and a sexy silhouette.”
