A WOMAN was left mortified after accidentally wearing a supermarket uniform to a night out.
Holly explained that she was looking for unique pieces in her local charity shop when she came across an oversized white and green striped shirt.
Falling in love with the item – which she thought was “vintage” – Holly bought it and couldn’t resist wearing it when she went clubbing with friends.
However, she later realized the shirt was actually a Waitrose uniform.
On a video On her TikTok page, she said: “I just realized that the shirt I bought in a charity shop last week and wore all weekend is actually a Waitrose uniform.
“Like, what? I wore this to the club on Friday night.”
She only realized it when she saw the buttons on his shirt, bearing the Waitrose logo.
Holly added that she hoped the “sexy DJ” she had her eye on at the club was looking at her back, but joked that he probably thought she had “just finished my shift at the cheese counter.”
Worst of all, someone came up to Holly at the club and asked where she got the shirt, to which she proudly said she bought it from the charity shop as part of her quest for “sustainable” fashion.
She also told the person she didn’t think they “could get another one” but then laughed: “Go to Waitrose Holloway Road.
“Everyone’s using one. Jesus Christ!”
Holly also shared a screenshot of a man wearing uniform in the TikTok video.
