An average-sized mum with a round tummy has revealed her summer trousers cost less than £30 from ASOS.
Influencer and mother-of-two Carys Whittaker regularly shares her fashion tips on social media – particularly how she dresses for her body shape.
And in one video on TikTok, Carys explained that she found the perfect pair of pants to wear on hot days.
She showed how flattering the ASOS wide-leg trousers are by teaming them with a cropped Primark tee, adidas Samba trainers, an ASOS crossbody bag and a jacket from Marks & Spencer.
In the clip she said she was going out to lunch with the girls and immediately grabbed her “go-to, feel good, confidence” pants.
“I love the shape of pleated pants,” Carys explained.
“I love the fact that they have the elastic in the back.
“I had them last year and loved them.
‘They’re ASOS dad pants and they’re a really pretty linen fabric that’s so good for summer.’
The pants come in nine different colors and in sizes ranging from 4 to 18.
They also come in tall and small versions depending on your height.
And although they normally cost £28, some of the shades are on offer – including the black and gray – for £22.50.
“This is today’s outfit of the day,” concluded Carys.
“Comfortable, cute, feel good, all my favorites!”
People in the comments section were quick to thank Carys for her video, with one writing: “My daughter is 3 months old and I was a size 12 before.
“I’m back to size 12, but this ‘Mum tum’, I don’t know how to wear it!
