A ‘BELLY conscious’ fashionista has revealed she found the perfect bikini and beach set from F&F that has her feeling confident for this summer.
Katie Hulland, who posts below @katievictoriahulland online, tried out the stylish ensemble for her 129,000 followers — and luckily they won’t break the bank.
The relatable shopper wrote: “Calling all my size 12/14 belly worried girls…
“Hi, I’m Katie, I’m 32 years old and I love easy, comfortable, stylish clothes (and cake).”
In a clip that has already racked up more than 1,400 likes, she showed how she bought a bikini from Tesco’s F&F Clothing that was perfect for her.
The black and white supportive bikini costs £14 for the top and £10 for the high-waisted bottoms
Katie looked incredible modeling the affordable swimwear and clearly felt confident in the bag-friendly items.
She added: “Girls, have I found the best bikini F&F has ever released? I think yes.
“I’m a UK size 12/14 and it took me a LONG time to feel confident in my average size body and to find my own personal style and now I want to help you feel the same.
‘I wear comfortable and stylish clothes daily, I have tummy problems and often have a swollen belly, so I look for comfortable clothes that don’t disturb my tummy and bloat.’
The fashion lover added to her followers that she chose a size 12 for her top and a size 14 for her bottoms.
Over her bikini, she wore chic cream beach pants that cost £22.50 and featured black floral detailing.
She added a matching top, which also cost £22.50, before adding a pair of sunglasses and sandals for the perfect holiday look.
Many people loved her Tesco look, with one saying: “Beautiful.”
Another added: “I bought this bikini and it’s so good.”
Meanwhile, a third commented: “Love, love, love this.”
She’s not the only person who loves F&F clothes right now.
Content creator Keelie, a chemistry teacher in her thirties who loves shopping for F&F fashion, took to social media, eager to show off her new Tesco outfit.
The brunette beauty shared a video of herself posing in the mirror, wearing her new matching striped set, leaving many speechless.
Alongside the short clip, Keelie advised fashionistas: “RUN to Tesco!!”
She then added: “Another amazing find at Tesco!!!
“I LOVE this striped vest combo.”
Is supermarket fashion the new high street?
Deputy Fashion Editor Abby McHale weighs in:
Supermarkets have really upped their game when it comes to their fashion lines. These days, when you go to do your weekly food shopping, you can also choose from a selection of stylish, purse-friendly pieces for the whole family.
Tesco has just announced a 0.7 per cent rise for the quarter thanks to “strong growth in clothing” and M&S has claimed the title of number one womenswear destination on the high street.
Asda’s George clothing range made £1.5m for the supermarket in 2023, 80 per cent of Sainsbury’s clothes were sold at full price rather than discounts and Nutmeg at Morrisons sales also rose by 2 per cent last year .
So what is it about supermarket fashion that is so successful?
Not only are the clothes really affordable, they’re also good quality – many of them being part of programs like the Better Cotton Initiative.
They often stick to classic pieces that they know will last the customer year after year.
Plus, because they buy so much inventory, they can deliver parts quickly and buy cheaper because of the volumes.
Alongside the stunning beige striped vest, Keelie wore matching striped pants.
Keelie styled her outfit with a pair of gold earrings, some black sandals and wore her brunette hair down and curly.
Not only is the outfit super stylish, but it also keeps you super cool in hot weather.
It’s great for a variety of occasions – whether you want to look glamorous The office or dress up for a day out with the girls.
And don’t worry, this stylish combination is great for a variety of body shapes — as, according to Keelie, it fits 34D breasts perfectly.
