PRIMARK is known for offering shoppers fashionable items at discounted prices.
And they’re turning up the heat with a new summer arrival that features a very in print for this season.
In a brief clip, staff at the Glasgow branch of high street giant Sauchiehall Street – which bills itself as “Scotland’s tidiest Primark” – revealed the £16 leopard print buy shoppers need to snap up.
Holding the new arrival in store, store staff said: “The perfect denim shorts for this summer.”
The Primark team then paired the animal print shorts with a £4 black top, red Birkenstock dupes and a red hair bow to show how they can be styled for a casual look.
But shorts can easily be paired with strappy heels for a more elegant vibe.
The leopard print trend was hugely popular in the ’90s — and it’s definitely returned to the streets this summer.
And like other items from the decade – think baby tees and disc belts – the much-loved trend is back, with Primark leading the way with budget-friendly options.
So if you want to channel your inner Scary Spice with the irregular style, then you’re in luck as the bargain store caters to your fashion needs across multiple items.
Speaking about the trend, Primark bosses said: “There’s something so powerful about a bold leopard print.
“If you want to feel like the cat that got creamed, you’ll want this wild style in your wardrobe!”
The clip of the leopard-print shorts has racked up more than 88,000 views, with fashion fans loving it.
“I need these shorts,” said one.
A second wrote: “I love red with animal print.”
Meanwhile, a third added: “Gotcha,” accompanied by a heart-eye emoji.
Another shopper, however, wasn’t impressed with the store’s summer must-have.
They fumed: “£16? Primark just isn’t primarking anymore.”
If you’re going crazy over the leopard print trend this summer, shorts aren’t the only bargain you’ll want to snag in store.
Fashion fans have been loving the new low-rise maxi skirt, which costs just £14, and the £10 flared trousers, which are said to be “super comfortable”.
Plus, shoppers can also purchase a £16 maxi slip dress, which is perfect for nights out at summer.
Why is Primark the place to go for bargains?
JUST how does Primark do it? Continue delivering fashionable items at such incredible prices? According to the bosses, it dropped to four points.
- They “sell a lot of items” – thanks to this they are able to save money by buying in bulk for their 191 UK stores
- They “do very little advertising”
- Although their clothes offer the “latest trends,” they “do not use expensive hangers, tags, or labels.”
- And finally, they try to be “as efficient as possible when transporting products from factories to stores”. This includes things like asking “suppliers to package our t-shirts so they’re ready to go straight to the shelf.”

It can be styled with sandals or high heels and is sure to turn heads.
Elsewhere in the store, a £16 leopard print beaded bag was hailed as the best accessory the store has ever released.
