It’s 2024, but fashion fans were left wondering if they had gone back in time when they saw one of Primark’s latest offerings.

The high street store shared a look at some of its new arrivals, including a denim mini skirt that gave a totally retro feel.

The layered ruffled denim mini skirt is actually from Rita Ora’s newest range and costs £16.

Primark has published a video with some of its latest arrivals on Instagramwith the caption: “Our top picks from the latest Rita Ora X Primark collection.”

But in the comments section, many people admitted that they had seen similar skirts before – decades ago.

“What year is it???” someone wondered.

“I definitely had a skirt like that in 2003,” insisted another.

“It’s like they dredged up the stock and stuck a Rita Ora label on it!”

“I’m sure I have a skirt like that somewhere,” added a third.

“We’re back in the 90s. For those who remember,” wrote another person.

“Sorry, are we going back in a time capsule?” another questioned.

“How I did these looks when I was a teenager, in the early 2000s!

“I’ll pass!”

“What in 2004?” someone said.

“The first skirt looks so 2000s,” wrote another.

“Tammy Girl called…” someone laughed.

As another said: “What is happening in 1995?!”

The retro look continued with a fringed bag, a butterfly hair clip, and a black minidress that felt very Y2K.

“It feels like 1984,” wrote one.

“I feel like Rita Ora has gone back in time..” another added.

“Reminds me of my teenage years – 20 years ago!!” a third insisted.

“Is 2000s fashion coming back?” someone said.

But there were a few people who loved Rita’s range, with one writing: “I’m so surprised by the comments – this is my favorite Rita collection so far!

“Maybe not all the items shown here, but in the store there are so many cool things.”

“I loved the black dress,” agreed another.

“I love the gothic style, I brought a lot of black clothes from the last drop,” said a third.

“I need the denim skirt,” insisted another person.
