LINEN clothing is in – especially now that the weather has been warmer lately.

But one of its main drawbacks might be the amount of creases, but one woman shared a free and easy trick that eliminates any wrinkles.

TikTok user Rach uploaded a video showing a beautiful pink linen shirt that she wore with shorts.

In it @hey.im.rach account, she wrote: “In case your mother didn’t teach you.

“You can lightly spray linen clothes with water to remove wrinkles.”

Rach explained that she uses a “water-only” spray bottle, although she added that she sometimes includes “essential oils to smell Cool but you don’t have to do that.”

After spraying the blouse, the creases fell out, leaving it looking as if it had been ironed.

Rach added: “Yes. I’m super behind on the laundry. This is why I love linen clothes!

“I can pull them out of the huge pile of laundry, spray them down, and look like they belong together in no time.”

The linen trick can also be perfect if you’re on vacation and don’t have access to an iron.

His video racked up 33,000 likes and people seemed impressed with the hack.

One person wrote: “You just saved my European summer.”

Another added: “I did this today.”

Meanwhile, a third commented: “Anti-wrinkle spray is the best option.”

Previously, we shared how one woman got her bedding wrinkle-free in just seconds.

Posting to Facebook group Mrs Hinch Cleaning Tips Hinch Armythe woman explained how she used fabric softener and water in a spray bottle to get crease-free sheets.

The woman admitted that she found the hack online and was excited to share the results.

“Someone, I’m not sure if it was this group, tried fabric conditioner and some water in a spray bottle on the bedding to release creases. [I’m] Of course you will agree, [it] looks better.”

She used a ratio of one capful of fabric conditioner to three capfuls of water and mixed the solution in a spray bottle.

After stretching the sheets over the bed, the woman sprayed them with the mixture and let them dry, losing the creases in the process.

Another woman suggested that people could use white vinegar and essential oils in place of fabric softener.

Is supermarket fashion the new high street?

Deputy Fashion Editor Abby McHale weighs in:

Supermarkets have really upped their game when it comes to their fashion lines. These days, when you go to do your weekly food shopping, you can also choose from a selection of stylish, purse-friendly pieces for the whole family.

Tesco has just announced a 0.7 per cent rise for the quarter thanks to “strong growth in clothing” and M&S has claimed the title of number one womenswear destination on the high street.

Asda’s clothing line George made £1.5m for the supermarket in 2023, 80 per cent of Sainsbury’s clothes were sold at full price rather than discounted, and sales of Nutmeg at Morrisons also rose by 2 percent last year.

So what is it about grocery fashion that is becoming so successful?

Not only are the clothes really affordable, they’re also good quality – many of them being part of programs like the Better Cotton Initiative.

They often stick to classic pieces that they know will last the customer year after year.

Plus, because they buy so much inventory, they can deliver parts quickly and buy cheaper because of volumes.

The trick was shared online after the popular £2.50 Lenor Crease Release spray won over shoppers earlier this year.

But as we said earlier, the product has been a hit online, with some people reselling it in eBay for up to £10.

Other Mrs Hinch fans flocked to the post, admitting that they too used the clever crease-eliminating trick.

One woman wrote: “I do this on curtains and bedding, it works great! I also put dryer sheets inside the sofa and bed cushions (the ones I take out at night). It keeps them smelling fresh for a long time.”

Another added: “It’s so good, I’ve been doing this for years.”
