THEY are reviving 90s fashion in hopes of a style comeback.

And the latest look to return to Primark shelves is a bandeau maxi dress that wouldn’t look out of place in a club in 1999.

The store in East London took to TikTok to take a look at the bodycon number, which comes in black and red.

“New dresses!” they captioned the video.

The clip showed the form-fitting dress first in black and then in red, with both looking equally stylish.

They also added hashtags including #summervibes, predicting the dress will be a hit in the warmer weather.

One person in the comments section asked how much the dress cost, to which the store responded that it was just £10.

“TEN QUID?” someone else responded.

“We are SPRINTING!” another said.

“I need that red,” commented a third.

“The night is resolved!” someone gushed.

“They’re really cool!” another agreed.

Others were split on whether or not to stick with black or red.

“Oh my God, I need red!” one insisted.

As another said: “I bought the black one today!”

“In love!! a third gushed.

“I like £10 better,” said someone else.

While another sighed: “I want it so bad I just don’t have the body for it haha!”

In the product description on the Primark website, they shared the different ways to wear the dresses.

“Style it with delicate jewelry and strappy heels for a sophisticated evening ensemble,” they began.

“Pair with a cozy cardigan and ankle boots for a chic daytime look, or even dress it up with sneakers and a denim jacket.

“Could it be more versatile?”

Primark is the latest store to try and bring back some of the 90s fashion trends.

Others they’ve tried include disco belts, wooden clogs and even, more recently, ra-ra denim skirts.

The layered ruffled denim mini skirt is actually from Rita Ora’s newest range and costs £16.

Why is Primark the place to go for bargains?

JUST how does Primark do it? Continue delivering fashionable items at such incredible prices? According to the bosses, it fell to four points.

  • They “sell a lot of items” – thanks to this they are able to save money by buying in bulk for their 191 UK stores
  • They “do very little advertising”
  • Although their clothes offer the “latest trends,” they “do not use expensive hangers, tags, or labels.”
  • And finally, they try to be “as efficient as possible when transporting products from factories to stores”. This includes things like asking “suppliers to package our t-shirts so they’re ready to go straight to the shelf.”

Primark has published a video with some of its latest arrivals on Instagramwith the caption: “Our top picks from the latest Rita Ora X Primark collection.”

But in the comments section, many people admitted that they had seen similar skirts before – decades ago.

“What year is it???” someone wondered.

“I definitely had a skirt like that in 2003,” insisted another.

“It’s like they dredged up the stock and stuck a Rita Ora label on it!”

“I’m sure I have a skirt like that somewhere,” added a third.

“We’re back in the 90s. For those who remember,” wrote another person.
