The leopard print trend was huge in the ’90s — and it’s definitely returned to the streets this summer.
And just like other items from the decade – think baby tees and disco belts – the much-loved trend has started to appear in stores again, with Marks and Spencer offering some gorgeous options.
So, if you want to channel your inner Scary Spice with the irregular style, then you are in luck as the store caters to your fashion needs across multiple items.
It’s not just shoppers who love M&S shopping, as one employee admitted that anything printed “makes her smile” and keeps her coming back for more.
Posting on the Stirling store’s TikTok page, the employee said: “If someone asked me if I liked leopard print, I would say yes, it’s cool.
“But if someone asked me more deeply, I would say that leopard print is what makes me go to M&S.
“Seeing the leopard print on the delivery brings a smile to my day.”
She added: “It makes me feel like Mel B when she was in the leopard print era or Kat Slater from Eastenders.
“It would just make me feel like a villain just imagining myself in leopard print.
“I go to sleep at night thinking about leopard print.”
And fashion fans are in total agreement about the ’90s print, as someone else instantly agreed: “Haha I love this, dare me.
Meanwhile, someone else said: “I’m not afraid to admit it, leopard print is neutral and goes with everything.”
Alongside her post, the M&S employee showed off a £45 animal print midaxi dress, which comes in sizes 6 to 24 and is also available in petite and tall sizes.
Describing the dress, store bosses say: “Bring a statement look to your wardrobe with this pure cotton animal print dress.
“It is designed in a regular cut, with a waist shape to flatter your figure.
The mid-length layered skirt and short puff sleeves make it a versatile option for day or night.
“A feminine V-neckline with a thin ribbon adds an elegant finishing touch.”
If you want to try the leopard print trend in a more subtle way, you can also buy a slim belt with a gold buckle for £15 in a twin pack with a plain silver version.
There’s also a £32.50 animal print V-neck blouse on the rails that shoppers say “fits the bill” if you’re a fan of the pattern.
Elsewhere on the high street, a pair of denim shorts with the trendy print were hailed as the “perfect summer buy” at Primark.
Fashion fans have also been loving the new low-rise maxi skirt, which costs just £14, and the £10 flared trousers, hailed as “super comfortable”.
Additionally, shoppers can also purchase a £16 maxi slip dress, which is perfect for nights out at summer.
And a £16 leopard print beaded bag was named the best accessory the store has ever released.
Why everyone is loving M&S

Deputy fashion editor Abby McHale revealed to Fabulous why M&S is the store of the moment. She explained:
“M&S has really pulled out all the stops this season, there are so many great products to get excited about.
“A brand that was once known for its ‘slouchy fashion’, that notion is long gone and is now one of the leading women’s high street fashion stores.
“Their handbag line in particular is super strong, with sales up 170% over plan, with many more naïve designers at just a fraction of the price.
“The brand is now also number 1 in style perception, compared to third place last year, this comes from a very strong design team focused on modernizing the brand, not just taking into account the appearance of parts, but as easy to use as well.
“Price is also an important factor as you can get many good quality pieces for under £30.
“After getting a sneak peek at the upcoming collection, there are plenty of other amazing pieces releasing in the coming months for you to keep an eye out for.
“Think leopard print dresses, colorful slips, embroidered boho jackets, plus lots of amazing swimwear and accessories, as well as great wardrobe staples that will last year after year.”
