SHOPPERS are rushing to Aldi to buy its new range of school uniforms, after the supermarket slashed prices before the clothes even hit the shelves.
Aldi’s school uniforms hit stores yesterday, July 4, and include a pleated skirt for just £1.75 and a hoodie for just £1.50.
Parents can also purchase a pack containing polo shirts, a sweatshirt or cardigan and a choice of trousers, skirt or cargo shorts for just £5.
Mums have been praising the prices online, with one shopper taking to Extreme Coupons and Bargains Facebook group, to share how many items she managed to buy for £11.
In the video, she said: “Talk to Aldi, guys.
“I paid £11 for all this school uniform”.
Showing viewers her work, she revealed that she managed to pack two polo shirts, two regular shirts, two sweaters, two pairs of pants, two pairs of cargo shorts.
“You won’t find it cheaper anywhere else,” she said, before adding that all of the clothes have an adjustable waist.
However, the mum warned her local supermarket is already almost sold out, so urged customers to head to Aldi quickly.
The post was flooded with responses from parents, many of whom praised Aldi for its cheap uniform.
One person said: “These prices are hard to beat.”
Someone else said: “What a bargain.”
A third person added: “I always buy uniforms from Lidl or Aldi.”
A fourth added: “I went as soon as they opened yesterday! I bought the whole thing for £48 and it would have cost me £102 for the same product at Asda!
“It was looted because all the employees were going through it on their own.”
A fifth said: “Really nice school uniform.
