A footballer’s fiancée has revealed she still loves street fashion after making a huge summer purchase at Zara.
Ellie Butler is the childhood sweetheart of former Celtic midfielder Liam Shaw, who signed a loan deal with Wigan Athletic last summer.

She regularly shares her purchases and clothing creations with her army of social media followers.
And although her dressing room is filled with designer bags and shoes, the practical Wag also loves a bargain.
In a recent videothe newly engaged blonde beauty packed some of Zara’s summer 2024 new arrivals.
She said: “We have been away for almost a month. We have gone here, there and everywhere.
“I finally came home and I have a big Zara purchase, and now I’m a bride too.
“We have a lot to overcome.”
She added: “Summer clothes in England for me is my biggest struggle I would say.
“I love my vacation clothes where you can dress up at night [and] wear cute little knitted sets during the day.
“Summer in England, when it’s really hot and I get so hot and bothered that I just want to wear my pajamas.
“So I feel comfortable, but still cute clothes is what I’m looking for.”
It’s not surprising then that the first item Ellie bought was a pair of mint green and white striped ‘pajama-style’ shorts for £25.99, which she paired with a white cropped vest-style top for £35.99 .
Ellie also apologized for buying “too many leopard prints” but insisted she is “obsessed and loves it.”
She bought a fitted mesh scoop neck maxi dress for £29.99 in the 90s print, as well as a £29.99 pair of shorts, £22.99 sandals and £19.99 bodysuit.
Elsewhere in her shopping spree, she picked up a “good quality” white t-shirt for £15.99, a £17.99 metallic gold waistcoat and a flowy black maxi dress.
She said: “It’s so comfortable. I feel like this will be an outfit you wear summer after summer.”
And it wasn’t the only dress she was excited about.
“This is my favourite,” she revealed as she tried on the £35.99 zebra print tulle mini dress.
“This is beautiful. It fits so well, it’s the perfect length. It has lots of ruffles so it’s so flattering.”
In true Wag style, Ellie even paired her outfits with designer jewellery, including the iconic black quilted Chanel bag and a selection of Telfar mini shopping bags.

Next time you go shopping at Zara, take a look at the tags on the clothes.
You may find a small shape next to the size tag, which serves a greater purpose than being decorative.
According to fashion and beauty Instagram account Dailychiclife, there’s a reason Zara tags have the symbols and you can use the shapes to find a better fit.
In a video, the Zara expert wrote that the square symbol means the garment is true to size.
Meanwhile, a triangle on the tag means the item is small and you may want to size up.
Lastly, a circle symbol on a Zara clothing tag indicates that the item runs large, which means you may want to size down if you want a tighter fit.
And for when she’s not wearing her Gucci platform sandals, Ellie also bought a pair of £22.99 black slides that she insists will make any outfit “more chic”.
Ellie’s only complaint about her purchases is that she’s already been on summer vacation, so she can’t use her new purchases abroad.
“Why do all the good things about the holiday always appear after I leave?” she sighed.
“We always have to arrive early because of Liam’s football. All the cool stuff always comes out at the end of the year.”
But this year’s early holiday was definitely something she’ll remember forever.

Liam, who spent last season on loan at Wigan Athletic, proposed to girlfriend Ellie while on holiday in Jamaica in May.
Vlogger Ellie has been with the football ace since before his time at Celtic.
The childhood sweethearts got together when Liam was on the books at Sheffield Wednesday.
His time at Celtic has not been very successful on the pitch, with the 23-year-old playing just two games for the club since signing Ange Postecoglou in 2021.
He was loaned to Motherwell and Morecambe in previous seasons and despite the turmoil, he and Ellie grew stronger.
Sharing the news of their engagement accompanied by a photo of her huge diamond ring on social media, an emotional Ellie said: “Always and forever.”
