A FASHION fan has revealed she found her dream summer skirt at River Island – after thinking the store had gone out of business.

In a recent clip, the 25-year-old revealed she gave the high street store a try when she was struggling to find an outfit for her wedding guest.
But instead she walked away with a £30 purchase that will be perfect for summer drinks.
Eve – from Scotland – bought the lime green satin midi skirt, available in sizes 6 to 18, after trying it on in the changing rooms.
After trying it out, she admitted, “No way, I was convinced this store was extinct.”
Speaking to us, she added: “I don’t normally shop at River Island, but I decided to branch out by looking for a cute outfit for last-minute wedding guests as so many people on TikTok found some cool stuff.
“I was shocked when I tried things on and it fit well.
“The staff are lovely too, giving me high heels to try on the dresses.”
“River Island’s summer clothes are really cool,” she continued.
“Normally it’s a store I don’t go to because it’s for an older market, but I found some really cool things.
“I was convinced it was closing, but I found things I liked there.
“I’m normally a Zara or Primark person, but I loved it there, especially the green skirt I tried on.”
And Eva isn’t the only one who loves the satin skirt, as another shopper said: “ONE HUNDRED PERCENT my summer color for this year!!!
“How beautiful is this River Island skirt? OBSESSED!!!”
The skirt has become so popular that it’s currently sold out online — so you’ll have to find it quickly in store.
