And in a recent videoshe revealed she went to a local village rummage event – which she saw advertised on Facebook – to see what deals she could win.

“Have you ever been on a confusing trail?” Becky started.

“They basically post a route of houses that have stalls outside so you can follow the route and do some shopping.”

While most of the stalls were in front of people’s homes, some were inside – and Becky even ended up in someone’s living room at one point.

But when she was there, she found a beautiful DKNY dress for £2.

Becky also found some Levi’s jeans for £5 and a vintage Billabong wallet for £1 in other stalls.

There were even some “free boxes” of things at people’s stalls, while some stall owners even provided fresh lemonade, watermelon slices, and barbecues.

“It was such a healthy day,” she said.

“I actually found so many crazy things and everything was super cheap because I think people just wanted to clean up.”

Among her best buys were a Patagonia jacket for £8 and a Burberry blouse for just 50p.

My whole wardrobe is charity shop hand-me-downs – my favorite boots are 20p!

She also bought a knit top, denim skirt, chain belt and bag for just a few cents.

“We can all start a petition to have more confusing trails in the UK because they are honestly insane!” Becky concluded.

“Sounds like a lot of fun!” one person commented on the video.

“It was such a pleasant afternoon, like a treasure hunt!” Becky replied.

“OMG I loved this,” added another.

“I wish my area did this,” wrote a third.

How to get a bargain

SUN Savers editor Lana Clements explains how to find a reduced-price item and score a bargain…

Sign up to loyalty schemes with the brands you regularly shop with.

Big names regularly offer discounts or special lower prices for members, among other perks.

Sales are when you can get a real steal.

Retailers often have periodic promotions that tie payday to the end of the month or holiday weekends, so keep an eye out and shop when these deals are available.

Sign up for email lists and you’ll also be the first to know about special offers. It may also be worth following retailers on social media.

When shopping online, always search for discount codes or vouchers that you can use vouchercodes.co.uk It is myvouchercodes.co.uk There are just two sites that bring together promotions by retailer.

It’s useful to have scanner apps on your phone. Trolley.co.uk The app has a scanner that you can use to compare prices on branded items when shopping.

Bargain hunters can also use B&M’s in-app scanner to find in-store discounts before staff mark them down.

And always check to see if you can get a refund before paying, which means you’ll get part of your money back or a discount on the item.

“What a great idea!” someone said.

“They have them near me and it’s fabulous,” commented another.

“I have plants and clothes.”

“Like a pub crawl. But other things!” someone laughed.

“My son and daughter-in-law are having a sale in their town,” wrote another.

“Great, they are!”
