THE boys reached the EURO final and we couldn’t be prouder – nor could their ever-supportive WAGs.

The English players’ partners were on the pitch for every game, allowing the team to continue and maintaining their style standards as high as their attendance.

And while we all reflect on the WAG class of 2006 and scoff at Victoria Beckham’s bulldog vest and hot pants, and Cheryl’s Ed Hardy-inspired tank top and baker’s cap, similar style rules still apply today.

Okay, it wasn’t exactly the same, but the likes of Bukayo Saka’s girlfriend Tolami Benson and goalkeeper Jordan’s wife Meghan Pickford followed in Posh and company’s iconic footsteps.

Think patriotic, think blow dryers and oversized sunglasses.

Their looks are more modern and inspired by the original Euro WAGs.

And while we’re not telling you to run to Primark to buy a rhinestone English waistcoat, you can get this year’s wife and girlfriend looks for just £2.

Here, Fabulous fashion editor Clemmie Fieldsend reveals what you need to channel your inner WAG this Sunday.

Big sunglasses

For most of us, the sunny weather has returned just in time to settle into a beer garden and watch the England v Spain clash on outdoor screens – and you’ll need some sunglasses to get the best view if the sun does come out.

WAGs like Dani Dyer and Anouska Santos have turned to designer brands for big shades, but you can get the look for less with this pair from Primark.

England shakes up Instagram’s rich list

Red nails

If you can’t bring yourself to wear an expensive football shirt or any other England paraphernalia, even a small nod to the team’s colors shows support.

Model Aine May Kennedy, girlfriend of Conor Gallagher, hit the stadium stands this month in a stunning low-waisted dress, but added a pop of red to her nails.

You can do the same with this ‘Red Passion’ (how appropriate) from Boots.

Robust watch

Extra time, penalty – whatever happens on Sunday, you can keep an eye on the clock with a sturdy watch.

While the WAGs may be sitting in the booth wearing watches that are worth more than most people’s cars, it’s easy to get the look for less with the idiots on the street.

This gold Sekonda watch looks like a Rolex, just £13,000 less.

Taking inspiration from the WAGs of 2006, this year’s cohort was polished and dried to perfection.

Each of the loyal fans, from Katie Goodland to the other half of goal hero Ollie Watkins, Ellie Alderson, arrived with their hair done.

Keep your hair looking WAG-worthy this Sunday with Velcro rollers, an oldie but a goodie.

Just slipping on the track in England is not enough, your look needs to be elevated.

While the WAGs of 2006 ditched them and had their own sculpted t-shirts and tank tops, this year the women are supporting their men with their kit but giving it their own style.

Tolami Benson was the trailblazer this year, cinching it at the waist and back.

Also known as ‘Tolami Tuck’.

England’s official shirts are like gold dust, but if you can get your hands on your partner’s old shirt, it will do.

And if they don’t give it up for you to wear, then Asda’s George has a great range of British-inspired pieces, like this simple t-shirt.

Women are rocking all kinds of designer bags, from Fendi to Chanel, similar to how Victoria Beckham carried her giant white Hermes Birkin bag to the games.

But if like us, this isn’t on your weekend shopping list, fear not.
As we all know, the streets are full of silly designers, and this bag is big enough to hold your keys, phone, card and flag.

Plus, it’s just £39.50 at Marks & Spencer and comes in cream, black, orange and green.
