Rival Sainsbury’s hasn’t jumped on the trend either and has been driving shoppers wild with its fabulous range of loungewear – and one of its latest offerings is no exception either.

Meet TU’s newest bargain – a pair of cocktail-themed pajamas that were once considered a “must” and a “need” among style lovers on TikTok.

The bag-fitting £20 long pajamas are the perfect way to celebrate summer and will make the ideal cozy outfit for catching up with your friends over a glass of wine at home.

Available in a wide range of sizes from UK 8 to UK 24, these adorable pajamas are a must-have when traveling abroad this season and will seriously elevate your sleeping game.

However, as the stunning ensemble has already become a hit on social media, it’s best to rush to the store now to avoid any disappointment.

The summery design, perfect for a girls’ trip abroad, features prints of all your favorite cocktails, including a martini with two olives, as well as a refreshing Aperol spritz.

It’s not just the style of the pajamas that the retailer’s fans have been loving — several shoppers on TikTok have also praised the quality and fit.

Urging fellow fashionistas not to sleep on the discovery, one shopper, Kirsty (@kirstyabarrett), said: ”We need these Sainsbury’s pajamas.”

The customer, who described the print as “cute”, also agreed that the sleep set was also “comfortable”, as others flocked to tag their friends. the video.

One jokingly confessed: “I have more Sainsburys pajamas than actual clothes at the moment.”

Another person couldn’t stop praising the adorable outfits, writing, “I have them and they are so comfortable.”

“I need them,” added another, eager to buy a pair of 100% viscose pajamas.

“These are ICONIC,” noted a fourth.

“OMG they’re a MUST,” a fellow shopper will also be heading to their local Sainsbury’s.

Is supermarket fashion the new high street?

DEPUTY Fashion Editor Abby McHale weighs in:

Supermarkets have really upped their game when it comes to their fashion lines. These days, when you go to do your weekly food shopping, you can also choose from a selection of stylish, purse-friendly pieces for the whole family.

Tesco has just announced a 0.7 per cent rise for the quarter thanks to “strong growth in clothing” and M&S has claimed the title of number one womenswear destination on the high street.

Asda’s clothing line George made £1.5m for the supermarket in 2023, 80 per cent of Sainsbury’s clothes were sold at full price rather than discounted, and sales of Nutmeg at Morrisons also rose by 2 percent last year.

So what is it about supermarket fashion that is so successful?

Not only are the clothes really affordable, they’re also good quality – many of them being part of programs like the Better Cotton Initiative.

They often stick to classic pieces that they know will last the customer year after year.

Plus, because they buy so much inventory, they can deliver parts quickly and buy cheaper because of volumes.

The popular supermarket recently sent fans into a frenzy with its “elite” croissant-print pajamas, which also retail for £20.

In traditional style, the set comes with a long-sleeved pajama shirt and pajama bottoms – what better way to start the day with a relaxing breakfast.

This adorable number, which is already running out in multiple sizes, will give shoppers a whopping 20 points on their Nectar card – what a win.

One such hit, Tu White Broderie Hem Traditional Pajamas, has been reduced from £20 to £15 – and there’s another fashion favorite that fans are going crazy over.

The traditional Tu Blue Stripe pajamas are the brand’s second best seller and cost £13.50, down from £18.
