Lidl launches new clothing range from £2.99 with sandals, dresses and linen outfits perfect for holidays

LIDL has revealed its new summer clothing range – and some of the pieces may look familiar.

The budget supermarket’s kimonos, slip-on sandals, wide-leg trousers and linen outfits are perfect wardrobe additions as the mercury is expected to rise later this week.

“Shoppers can save up to 82% by opting for the Lidl range,” a Lidl spokesperson told Fabulous.

“Includes holiday-ready sandals, flowy maxi dresses, flattering kimonos and flared trousers instead of their designer doubles, all from just £2.99.”

Some of the pieces were inspired by a £90 Anthropologie number and a £70 John Lewis float purchase.

The Esmara Women’s Maxi Dress in Black is just £7.99.

That makes it 82% cheaper than its high street twin – the By Anthropologie Flowy Maxi Dress, which costs £90.

For a midi option, fashionistas can also shop the Esmara women’s tunic dress, which comes in a vibrant, versatile floral pattern and versatile black color.

And at just £9.99, it’s 60% less than its high street inspiration.

The Saint Tropez Zus Long Sleeve Shirt Maxi Dress is currently £69.99 on the John Lewis website.

Ideal for a casual AND holiday look, savvy shoppers can opt for the £10 deal on the Esmara Women’s Kimono and matching Esmara Women’s Wide Leg Trouser Set.

They cost £5.99 to buy separately, meaning a saving of almost £2 on the complete package.

You can choose the combination in a bold and eye-catching print for a more adventurous look, or a sleek black color for a casual vibe.

Lidl bosses have dubbed these “the perfect ‘Birken knockoffs’ for those looking to keep up with fashion without breaking the bank”.

They also cost 78% less than designer inspiration.
