“To be honest, I love micellar water. Nothing cleans like her,” commented one viewer.

Micellar water is a common skin care cleaning agent, but who knew it can also remove dirt and grime from shoes?

If you’re interested in trying this cleaning trick, Quiroz shared the three-step process.

First, take your micellar water and soak a reusable cotton pad with the liquid.

She said she prefers Garnier SkinActive Micellar Cleansing Water for Oily Skin.

Then, press it firmly onto the area you want to clean so it is saturated with the solution.

Lastly, just start swiping and watch the faded color disappear and your vibrant tone come to life.

She explained in the caption that “double cleaning” the sneakers took less than five minutes.

This took them from dirty to “fairly shiny”.

One Instagram user said they were “trying this now.”

“Also works as a ‘dry’ shampoo,” wrote another.
