The bag, which costs £24.99, has been dubbed “the most perfect summer bag and STATE dupe,” is currently being snapped up by fashion fans.

The TK Maxx item is a small pink striped beaded bag that has a number of different small cherries engraved into the design.

The comparison has a similar shape and design to those designed and sold by STAUD for around £335.

Since TK Maxx stocked the item, it has gone viral on TikTok, with many people filming themselves finding the bag in their local store.

TikTok account @trezetrintaoneewith the caption: “Look what we caught @TKMaxx this morning!!

“Isn’t this the most perfect and stupid Staud summer bag?”

Fashion fans rushed to the comments section, praising the discovery.

One wrote: “Very cute.”

I worked at TK Maxx and there is a day when you should NEVER shop there if you want the best deals and how to find a bargain

Other shoppers have also taken to TikTok to share how they are “obsessed” with their cherry bag finds.

Maya Dannie, who regularly shares fashion updates on her TikTok page, revealed how she was “obsessed with the viral cherry bag”.

Some other fashion fans commented on videos revealing how they were looking for this and “looking everywhere.”

A shopping expert previously revealed four tricks TK Maxx uses to make you spend more and how to avoid them.

Shopping expert Tom Church, co-founder of Latestdeals.co.uk, revealed that TK Maxx uses a series of tricks aimed at getting you to part with your hard-earned cash.

Shoes in the back of the store

Tom states that the retailer knows that it is one of the favorite stores when buying shoes.

That’s why they put them at the back of the stores, because they hope you’ll see other products along the way.

Tom said: “It’s similar to how supermarkets put eggs and bread in the back of the store.”

Aisles near cash registers

TK Maxx is known for placing products while you queue to pay for your purchases.

Tom claims this is to try and convince you to spend more and potentially buy more products that you didn’t buy.

Tom said: “On the way to the checkout, you walk down a small zigzag aisle full of cheap items.

“They tend to cost less than £5 and are usually consumables like sweets, chocolates and coffee.

“There will also be little beauty items, sodas, hand gels. ‘Oo, I got that’ is exactly what they’re looking for.”

How is TK Maxx Flog Designer cheap?

  • TK Maxx follows an off-price business model to source cheap designer products
  • It purchases merchandise from various brands and designers at a discount and then sells it to customers at lower prices than traditional retail stores.
  • The selection at its outlets often includes overstocked items, last season’s styles, and canceled order products.
  • The Gold Label is a premium collection of design and luxury products offered by TK Maxx.
  • If you love designer clothes, this is the label you should look for on the pieces.

Etiquette tricks

TK Maxx also has “secret” symbols on its labels and often places yellow and red stickers on products when further reducing items.

Each label also has a numeric code.

If there is a “1,” it means the clothing was made specifically for the retailer.

These items can also be designer, so although you might think you’re getting a bargain, the product was made for TK Maxx and not other stores.

Tom said: “These are generally not good purchases and are a trick by TK Maxx to get you to spend more money.”
