A WOMAN who flew to Turkey for the summer holidays has revealed the ‘designer’ gifts she got while she was there.
Halle, from Edinburgh, Scotland, went to Side, Turkey and shared her huge fashion collection on social media.
She revealed that prices have risen since she was last in Turkey and recommended that people haggle instead of buying the first price offered by stores.
The bargain hunter first showed off a pair of black and white Adidas Sambas that she bagged for just 25 euros.
Although they usually cost £90, she compared them to those of a friend who had the real day and found there was no difference between them.
Halle also purchased a beautiful pair of Christian Dior sandals in beige for just €10, as well as 15 pairs of Nike socks for just €5.
She also treated herself to some new jewelry, including a Cartier Love ring with diamonds on the band for €10.
“I love it and, frankly, I can’t afford the real thing,” she added.
And that’s not all, she managed to buy a beautiful silver Rolex watch for just 35 euros, which she said was great quality for the price.
She then showed off the collection of designer bags she received and said she got them for a great price, buying two for €50.
The first she bought was a black Marc Jacobs bag and a Louis Vuitton shoulder bag with red piping and the classic monogram fabric.
“I fell in love with this. It was the red that sold me,” she said and got a matching card wallet for 5 euros.
Next came a €35 Chloe backpack, with a cream canvas body and brown leather straps.
The last bag Halle bought was a white YSL shoulder bag along with a matching belt for 5 euros.
The clip posted to his TikTok account @vidacomhalle4 went viral with more than 490 thousand views and 21 thousand likes.
People were quick to take to the comments obsessing over its outcome.
Spotting Fake Designer Products
IDENTIFYING the real deal from a knockoff is harder than ever.
These days, fake clothes, bags, and jewelry look almost identical to the real thing, making it harder to spot the difference.
Here, Clemmie Fieldsend gives tips on how to spot whether your purchases are fake or legit.
Scholarships:
- Real designer bags don’t come with authenticity cards
- Labels should not be attached to the bag, they usually accompany the receipt or are stored in the packaging
- Designer bags usually have a serial number
- The bag should look and feel high quality. Check for even stitching, clean material with no frayed edges, and clear color matching
Clocks:
- A high-quality genuine watch will feel heavy due to high-quality materials
- The movement of the second hand on the clock should not be rigid
- The model name and serial number of a counterfeit can be used on all parts, not individual parts.
- Check the official brand and compare it to an original model if you can
- Fine details will not be as refined, including positioning and spacing, etc.
Sunglasses:
- The lenses of designer glasses must be of superior quality. Know what you are buying. Classic Ray-Ban designs, for example, are made of glass.
- Fake frames feel lighter than real ones
- Beware of rigid or loose hinges

Another commented: “Fabulous! I just got back from Türkiye last night.”
“Such a good, detailed video and bargains!” wrote a third.
Meanwhile, a fourth said: “I’m going next week, hoping to get a good Dior bag and the Sambas!”
“I will forever buy fake things from Turkey, because there is no way I will spend the real amount,” said a fifth.
