FASHION fans have labeled a supermarket buy as “viral perfection” that can be worn through summer and autumn.

It can easily be dressed up or down and also ticks the box for its trendy print.

So it’s no surprise that shoppers are rushing to Asda to get their hands on the quilted leopard print jacket.

The stylish purchase costs £28 and comes in sizes 8 to 24.

Asda bosses are even hailing it as “The jacket of the season”.

And it seems that fashionistas completely agree, as they insist that it is “everything”.

Trying out the affordable find, shopping idiot mom clear said: “George at Asda is absolutely rocking leopard print this season!”

Someone chimed in: “I received mine today and it’s great.”

“I’m running to Asda, thanks,” said a third.

A fourth wrote: “I [found] the viral leopard print jacket.

“It has that quilted feel without actually being quilted. It’s super thin. Perfect for the British summer, but would also be great for layering in autumn/winter. Perfect transition all year round.”

“Leopard print perfection.”

I found the most phenomenal dress from Asda and a PJ set that’s too good not to wear – it’s perfect for summer

A fifth added: “Leopard print girls, this quilted jacket from Asda is everything.”

Meanwhile, a sixth shouted: “Oh my God, I need it.”

The leopard print trend was hugely popular in the ’90s — and it’s definitely returned to the streets this summer.

And like other items from the decade – think baby tees and disc belts – the much-loved trend is back, with Primark leading the way with budget-friendly options.

So if you want to channel your inner Scary Spice with the irregular style, then you’re in luck as Asda has your fashion needs covered across a range of items.

In addition to the viral jacket, the supermarket offers a tie-front vest, already sold out online, a coordinated lounge set and a selection of dresses.

Elsewhere on the high street, a pair of denim shorts with the trendy print were hailed as the “perfect summer buy” at Primark.

Fashion fans have also been loving the new low-rise maxi skirt, which costs just £14, and the £10 flared trousers, hailed as “super comfortable”.

Additionally, shoppers can also purchase a £16 maxi slip dress, which is perfect for nights out at summer.

And a £16 leopard print beaded bag was named the best accessory the store has ever released.

Why supermarket fashion is in top form, says Fabulous deputy fashion editor Abby McHale

I love shopping in supermarkets – in recent years, although some high street stores have closed, the style in the aisles has gone from strength to strength.

Now, when I go to do my weekly food shopping, I always have to stop by the clothing section to see what’s new.

In addition to the pieces having a great price, supermarkets have really nailed what their customers want.

From wardrobe staples, good quality jeans, cute dresses and fun accessories, they really have it covered.

These days I only buy my jeans in supermarkets with pairs from Tu at Sainsbury’s and F&F at Tesco.

And for me there’s no better feeling than someone complimenting your outfit and you saying it’s from the supermarket.

Last week I bought a gorgeous black crossbody bag in Sainsbury’s for just £14 and a lot of people have told me it looks a lot more expensive.

Working in fashion I can see and feel a lot of clothes and I can say that the quality of the pieces in these stores is great, especially for the price
