ALDI fans are rushing to stores to buy an expensive Rosé dupe that’s £14 cheaper than the real thing.

If you’re a fan of Whispering Angel but can’t justify spending £21 on a bottle, then Aldi is the place to try a similar flavor for a fraction of the price.

So much so that wine fans are now rushing to stores to bag a bottle before it sells out.

Whispering Angel is a Rosé, which is a pale pink color and is often a popular drink choice for both special and casual occasions.

It has grapefruit, citrus and peach flavors and is produced in the French region of Languedoc-Roussillon, where Provence and the Whispering Angel vineyard are located.

However, due to its “delicious taste,” the price per bottle may make it difficult for some to afford to drink regularly.

But according to wine lovers, budget supermarket Aldi has customers covered.

They are currently selling The Atlantique Rosé for £6.99 and shoppers are “very excited” to see it hit the shelves.

An account called Affordable Wine Hunter on TikTok shared a video of a wine lover buying wine in an Aldi store.

The wine expert said: “I’m really excited to see this Rosé back here at Aldi this week.

“I couldn’t get enough of it last summer.

“Often described as the Whispering Angel jerk, get him while you can.”

The video caption read: “Atlantique Rosé, Aldi £6:99 from Chasseaux et Fils.

“I first posted this a year ago and since then it has started to become known as the ‘Whispering Angel Dupe’.

“It certainly has a similar style and is a very easy drinking Rosé.

“IGP Atlantique is not a very popular area. This area became an IGP (Indication Géographique Protégée) in 2009.

“It actually covers a large area on the southwest coast of France, including the areas surrounding Bordeaux and other AOC areas, so you don’t see it much.

“The climate is ‘Maritime’ which, given the success of Rosé in the South of France, bodes well for rosé.”

Aldi’s Atlantique Rosé has already taken store social media by storm due to its affordable price and mouth-watering flavor.

It certainly has a similar style and is a very easy drinking Rosé.

Affordable wine drinker

It is constantly sold out in most stores because it has become very popular with wine lovers, who rush to grab as many bottles as possible as soon as it is restocked.

Another Rosé considered similar to Whispering Angel is La Bonne Vie rosé wine.

Costing just £8.99 for the wine that has been hailed as a fool by the Whispering Angel’s drink of choice.

Post on Aldi’s official social media account, with the username @aldiukthe beloved retailer shared a Photograph of the new product – La Bonne Vie Rosé wine.

When is the best time to shop at Aldi?

WHEN it comes to shopping at Aldi, the best time to do so depends on what you want to buy.

For reduced items – when stores open

Items with red stickers are rare across Aldi’s 830 UK stores, but the supermarket says none of its food goes to waste, so there are some to be found – if you’re quick.

A spokesperson for the supermarket said: “All items are reduced to 50 per cent of the recommended retail price before stores open at their best time or best before date.”

This means you’ll have a better chance of finding reduced-price foods if you go to stores as soon as they open.

Opening hours vary depending on the store, but most open from 7am or 8am. You can find the hours of your nearest store using the supermarket online store finder tool.

For special purchases – Thursdays and Sundays

Special Buys are Aldi’s weekly collection of items that it doesn’t normally sell, which can range from pizza ovens to power tools.

New stock arrives in stores every Thursday and Sunday, so naturally these are the best days to visit for the best one-off specials.

For an even better chance of bagging the best items, head to your local store during opening hours.

However, you don’t need to go to stores to buy a Specialbuy.

They are also on sale online, usually at midnight on Thursday and Sunday, and you can order them up to a week in advance.

As long as you spend at least £25, items will be delivered free of charge.

Remember: once they’re gone, they’re gone, so if there’s something you really want, visit asap

Next to the post, the chain wrote: “THIS IS NOT AN EXERCISE.

“What better way to celebrate than opening a bottle of our La Bonne Vie.

“This light pink rosé has hints of blackcurrant, cranberry and watermelon.

“Go to the store to get yours now!”
