The Company Shop is the UK’s leading redistributor of surplus food and household products.

It allows the largest retailers and manufacturers to unlock value from excess stock that might otherwise have been wasted.

You need to be a member to shop at The Company Shop and once signed up, members can enjoy a unique way to shop, with products from name brands at incredible prices, helping tight budgets go further.

Membership is open to staff and pension recipients from the NHS, Care and Emergency Services, Prison Service, British Armed Forces, Charities and the Fast Moving Consumer Goods supply chain.

Those who receive means-tested benefits are also eligible.

The Company Shop sells items from companies including ASDA, Morrisons, The Co-operative, M&S, Tesco, Nestlé, Ocado, Tetley, Young’s and Muller.

Products from these stores are sold to members for 40% of the recommended retail price.

Amy, a foodie from Dudley, regularly visits The Company Shop and often shows off her collection of cheap groceries online.

Posting on social media, Amy showed off her bargains and explained: “This morning I went to The Company Shop and got some really good deals, some things were even free. I only found out at the register.”

Amy scored a great selection of pre-prepared fruit from M&S, including three packs of fruit kebabs, two packs of pomegranate rubies and more.

I live near a bargain store I had no idea existed – you can get 12 bottles of Fanta for QUID and viral cleaning purchases

Amy smiled: “All the fruit was 50 cents today, along with the vegetables too.”

Not only that, but Amy also got free jars of mango and packets of broccoli and tender-stem carrots, while the litter jars cost just 50 cents.

Amy stocked up on berry medley packets and tubs of strawberries, which Amy described as “perfect for lunchboxes”, all costing just 50 cents each.

They were £1 each so I bought six as there are six maximum per customer

If that wasn’t enough, the bargain hunter was lucky enough to score a huge box of apples for 50 cents, as well as cheap bok choy and lettuce.

But it wasn’t just fruits and vegetables that were cheap – Amy also stocked up on packs of flame-grilled chicken, which cost 50 cents each, and 12-packs of chicken meatballs.

Additionally, she also purchased slices of chicken and ham for just 50 cents, which she deemed “perfect for sandwiches.”
