A MUM of 12 has revealed the tasty meal she swears ALL her kids eat – and it’s cheap too.

Zoe Sullivan, 45, husband Ben, 49, and their twelve children make up one of Scotland’s largest families.

The couple are parents to Elisabeth, 19, Olivia, 17, Noah, 14, Evangeline, 12, Tobias, 11, Agnes, six, Joseph, five, Florence, two, and two sets of twins – Charlotte and Isabelle, 16, and Leah and Erin, eight.

The brood live in a six-bedroom house in Burghead, Moray, where they regularly document their busy lives on your YouTube channel.

In a recent post, Zoe revealed the family favorite dish she makes that makes everyone happy.

Best of all, their sausage casserole requires very little effort and costs around £1.78 per person.

But serving it with mash presents a problem for the busy mom: having to peel 5kg of potatoes to make sure there’s enough to go around.

She said: “This is how you feed 14 people and that’s why it obviously takes a little longer for me because I’m preparing for 14 people.

“If you only do it for four, it would be very fast”

To make her dish, Zoe browned four packets of ‘extra special’ caramelised onion pork sausages, which she bought from Asda for a tenner.

She then browned three onions and tossed them in a casserole dish before adding Schwartz sausage casserole mix, tomato puree, canned tomatoes with chili sauce, and cans of taco beans.

Once stirred, Zoe placed the casserole in the oven at 200ºC for an hour.

After serving it to her abundant brood, Zoe added: “It went down really well. Everyone liked it, really liked it, which is good.

“It’s very easy, just put it in the oven and that’s it.”

She added: “If you want to make it even cheaper, you can use regular sausages, not fancy sausages.

“They also have the cheapest beans you can get, but we just like to buy the other ones.”

Full of praise for his wife, Ben chimed in: “Without exaggeration, this is one of the TAStiest meals Zoe has ever invented.

“So sausage casserole is a family favorite, very simple to cook and totally delicious.”

And social media users are already desperate to get into the kitchen and try it for themselves.

One said: “Definitely doing this, it looks amazing.”

“This dinner was really delicious, I’m definitely going to give it a try,” added another.

A third said: “It looked lovely, I might try it one day this week.”

Meanwhile, a fourth wrote: “Sounded delicious having this for tea one night.”

Zoe’s Sausage Casserole – Shopping List

For four people you will need:

  • 1 x Schwartz Sausage Casserole Mix
  • 450g of Sausages
  • 1 x Sliced Onion
  • 2 x tablespoons of tomato puree
  • 1 x can of plum tomatoes with pepper sauce
  • 1 x can of taco beans (mixed beans)

We’ve previously told you how Zoe only sleeps four hours a night – but we’d still never say never to baby number 13.

The supermummy gets up every morning at 4:45 am, after just settling down the night before around midnight.

She said: “I can’t stand being late for anything and I can’t stand being rushed.

“So if I wake up early, I can take a shower, think about what I’m going to do for the day and get ready.

“I also like to do some chores before the kids go to school, so I can wash twice and that kind of thing.

“I don’t go to bed until around midnight, so I probably average four or five hours of sleep – on a good night.”

But she still “would never say no” to having another child, and added: “I think the more we had, the more we realized how much we loved having a big family.

“And to be honest, the more you have, the easier it gets, in a weird way.”
