Even better, you can find them online for less than ten dollars.

While this sounds too good to be true, a savvy shopper has revealed where she found the iconic snack in a video that has now gone viral.

Going to TikTok, Influencer Megan showed a screenshot of the mozzarella sticks alongside countless other treats.

When browsing the Original Foods website, the retailer even appeared to reference the fast food restaurant in the product description.

It said: “Mozzarella cheese sticks coated with crunchy seasonal breadcrumbs – an ideal starter, bar snack or for sharing platters or buffets. Best sliced with spicy tomato sauce.

For those still not convinced, eagle-eyed viewers also found halloumi fries and pepper jack cheese nuggets that looked almost identical to the ones you’d find at McDonald’s.

Needless to say, the content creator was convinced and wrote in the caption: “POV, you found out where McDonald’s mozzarella sticks come from.”

Others were also impressed, with one quipping: “I think I need to order from a food store.”

Another tagged his friends, saying: “You need to know!”

Some TikTok users found other takeout classics on the site, with a third adding: “You can also get jalapeño cheese bites here.”

Unfortunately, some weren’t convinced it would taste true.

I’m a mum of four but I spend less than £200 a MONTH on food with my ‘snap happy’ method – it saves me a fortune

“I just know they still won’t taste the same as Maccies,” argued a fifth, with a sixth writing pointedly: “What about the sauce that comes with the mozzarella dips?”

While not everyone is convinced, that hasn’t stopped the video from getting over 647,000 views on the app and counting.

If you’re thinking about purchasing these tempting treats, it’s worth noting that a 1kg bag of mozzarella sticks will set you back just £7.99.

Considering a small bag of five mozzarella sticks costs between £2 and £4, this foodie purchase is an absolute bargain.

Plus, you can also stock up on countless other items, including fries, hash browns, and even potato wedges.

From £4 you can find 1kg bags of some of your favorite takeaway items that can be stored frozen and thawed to make a side dish.

Alternatively, you can go all out and have a snack at home with your loved ones as a special gift.

If you’re still tempted to recreate your favorite Maccies meal, a former employee shared some of the restaurant’s best-kept secrets.
