A VEGAN family has taken drastic action after becoming increasingly angered by their neighbors’ love of meat.

The family, who follow a vegan lifestyle, were so furious with their carnivorous neighbors preparing meaty meals that they decided to send a threatening note.

Initially, they complained about the smell of fried and grilled meat coming in through the open kitchen window.

In the first note, signed by “Sarah, Wayne and children”, the family said: “Hello neighbor, could you close the side window while you cook, please?

”My family is vegan (we only eat plant-based foods) and the smell of the meat you cook makes us sick and upset.

”We would appreciate your understanding.”

Unfortunately, the request was ignored and the vegan family decided to up the ante with a “final warning” note.

In follow-up correspondence, the person who wrote the note accused the neighbor of taking “the mickey” out of the family and being “completely rude.”

“I raised my concerns about the smell of meat making my family sick and upset and you are having a barbecue on Saturday night inviting lots of people and you knew it would affect me and my family.”

However, soon things happened and changed drastically when the family was informed that their letter had been shared online.

“My friend Tina told me that you took my letter to social media and it backfired on you, which is ‘just desserts’.

“Please don’t barbecue anymore and keep the window closed while cooking, otherwise I will report you and go on social media too.”

Neighbors at war over 10-foot window

The letter, The mirror reportedIt has since caused quite a stir, with some people calling it a “reasonable” request, while others have urged the family to organize another barbecue in protest.

“This is unbelievable, they want to tell you how to live in your own house,” said one person.

But someone else said: “Both are wrong!!

”It’s a shame that this is our society now without community!! #1 If you’re asking someone to close the window, close your damn window…

”#2 You can’t tell other people how to live their lives or what to do, you do what changes for yourself.

” #3 If your neighbor has asked you something kindly that you don’t agree with, treat him with respect, like an adult.

The top five reasons for fights between neighbors

  3. Trees – complaints about a neighbour’s tree breaking their garden path were also common, with almost half of participants finding it frustrating
  4. Trash Wars – Outdoor Trash Etiquette Continues to Spark the Furiest Debates Between Neighbors
  5. Nosy neighbors – some people have eyes and ears ready to take a peek, causing trouble for others
