A WOMAN was left horrified after ordering bubble tea from M&S.
Unfortunately for Kirsty Martin, her “stolen” drink didn’t look exactly like she expected.

Kirsty confirmed she bought strawberry tea from M&S – but people said her drink tastes more like baked beans.
Bubble Tea is a Taiwanese cold drink made with tea, sweetened milk or other flavorings and contains balls or ‘pearls’ of tapioca – a starchy substance in the form of hard grains.
Posting on social media, Kirsty shared a photo of the advertised drink, followed by a Photograph of the drink she actually received.
In the short clip, the young woman said: “Don’t order the strawberry tea at M&S Cafe.”
Sharing a photo of the thirst-quenching M&S drink, advertised in red, with a strawberry garnish, Kirsty wrote: “This is what I ordered.”
She then posted an image of the drink she was actually served, as she wrote: “And this is what I got.”
Shocked by the drink, which was nothing like what she expected, Kirsty then shared: “The worst £4 I’ve ever spent.”
Not only that, but she considered the drink a “robbery.”
The TikTok clip, which was posted under the username @_kirtymartinIt clearly left many speechless as it quickly racked up 88,600 views.
Social media users were shocked by the street drink and many took to the comments to share their thoughts.
Not only did the tapioca in the drink resemble cooked beans, but others thought it resembled fish roe.
One person said: “It looks like a baked bean drink.”

What is bubble tea?
BUBBLE tea is a Taiwanese tea-based beverage invented in Tainan and Taichung in the 1980s.
It consists of a type of tea, milk and sugar, as well as tapioca balls (also known as pearls or boba).
The oldest known bubble tea consisted of a mixture of hot Taiwanese black tea, small tapioca pearls, condensed milk, and syrup.
The drink rose to prominence in Southeast Asia during the 1990s and also spread westward.
It is widely available in areas with large Chinese or Taiwanese populations, including in the United Kingdom, London, Manchester and Birmingham.
There are a range of bubble tea chains selling the drink in the UK, including Bubbleology, Mooboo and Boba Box.
Not only that, but another foodie stated, “Oh no, I would have to return that, it looks absolutely disgusting.”
However, at the same time, other M&S shoppers were keen to share their thoughts on the refreshing drink.
One foodie wrote: “I bought it the other day too! I was shocked too, but I realized that you need to stir because the syrup is at the bottom.”
While another chimed in: “I bought one and it didn’t look like that and it was soooo good.”
