But it turns out you’re opening packages the wrong way – and the right way is impressing people.

We often get caught ripping open the bag only for our precious sweets to fly everywhere – but not anymore.

Luckily, one social media user shared the right way to open them and it means you’ll never have to worry about wasting your sweet treats again.

Anna Antonje from Germany, where Haribos also originates, took to social media to share the clever hack she found.

After seeing the hack on social media, she literally ran to the store to grab a bag of the chewy treats herself.

Once home, she tried hacking it herself and was clearly surprised by how easy it was.

Instead of trying to separate the sides of the package, she grabbed the small flap at the top often used by stores to hang them.

She then pulled it down – and to her surprise the bag ripped completely open.

Anna said, “No way. I don’t believe.

“This is so crazy. I love this hack.”

“Don’t tell me you KNEW that???!!!” she captioned the post.

The clip posted to his TikTok account @anna.antonje It has since gone viral with over 25 million views and 1.9 million likes.

People quickly took to the comments section, shocked by the revelation.
