Alternatively, diners can eat lamb chops marinated in smoky spices with chopped keema.

Vegetarians, meanwhile, can order a paneer makhani scramble pie with fries.

Diners have praised the dishes at The Gladstone Arms in Borough, south London, with one calling them “the best hangover food”.

They said: “You get the spice you need for the end of the night and Sunday roast experience.”

The family-run pub, which serves Anglo-Indian innovations every Sunday, says its chicken tikka masala pie is a customer favourite.
