The savvy shopper stumbled upon 400g packets of mature cheddar that had been cut and thus emptied the shelves of the last five packets.

Excited by her findings, Bobbie took to social media to show off her results.

Posting tips, tricks and yellow sticker purchases, a private Facebook group with 188,880 members, Bobbie shared a photo of her purchases, leaving many surprised.

Alongside the post, the mum wrote: “Poundland 9am this morning. I got the last five cheeses.”

She then added: “RRP £2.50 each, reduced to 63 cents.”

Bobbie even shared a Photograph on your receipt, to prove that you got Taw Valley cheddar cheese, for just 63 cents a package.

Saving £1.87 per pack, in total, Bobbie spent just £3.15 and saved an impressive £9.35.

The Poundland fan later wrote: “I’m a mum to three growing boys and four if you count my partner.

“Anyway, there were no limits and I took them all because we don’t always have money to buy cheese, it’s usually very expensive.”

The Facebook post clearly left many speechless as it quickly racked up over 100 likes in just 10 hours.

At the same time, another cheese fan wrote, “Definitely jealous.”

Meanwhile, one foodie said: “Poundland makes big reductions. I bought bacon for cooking at a great price.”

However, not everyone was so happy with Bobbie’s purchase of the lot.

One user asked: “Why didn’t you leave any for anyone else?”

While another chimed in: “Greedy.”

Despite this, a Facebook user reassured the mother and shared: “You don’t need to explain it to anyone, anyone who moans is jealous. Enjoy your cheese.

A former employee on Poundland prices

Holly Laing22, from Northampton, revealed he worked in Poundland and often heard customers say the same irritating thing.

Holly claimed she worked for Poundland in 2015 for three months as a Christmas temp.

She said customers would get angry when products cost more than £1 individually.

In a comical video, Holly acted out a scenario that often occurred on her shift at the bargain store, where customers were always perplexed and angry that items could cost more than £1.

Holly uploaded her video with the caption “I heard this a lot”, as she said: “POV: Not everything is £1 in Poundland.”

Holly explained that customers often said to her: “But this is the pound shop, isn’t it?”

“That’s very misleading, I’ll only pay for it if it’s a pound.”

“Disgusting, what a rip off.”
