But the 48-year-old wife, who regularly shares cooking videos as she prepares meals for her “hardworking husband,” has given the classic Italian dish her own unique twist.

Instead of using spaghetti noodles, Jackie, who is from the UK and often prepares frozen meals with cheap ingredients for her husband, she opted for a packet of instant noodles.

Additionally, Jackie ditched the expensive Parmesan cheese and used cheap cheese slices.

Sharing her recipe on social media, Jackie posted: “Cooking spaghetti carbonara for my blue-collar husband.”

Firstly, she put a packet of instant noodles in a pan, which you can buy for just 28p in Sainsbury’s, along with some water and a generous seasoning of salt and pepper.

She then added a few slices of bacon, which cost just 20p per serving thanks to a £1 pack from Morrisons, and gave it a good stir.

Afterwards, Jackie cracked an egg, which costs just 13p thanks to a £1.33 pack of ten eggs from Tesco, along with more salt and pepper.

To finish the dish, Jackie added three slices of cheese, which costs just 5 cents per serving thanks to an 83 cent package from Morrisons, and some milk, which you probably already have in the fridge, before serving the dish in a Plastic plate.

In total, Jackie’s meal cost just 66 cents, making it an incredibly affordable alternative to the famous dish.

But the TikTok clip, posted under the username @housewifeclearly left many utterly stunned as it quickly went viral and has since racked up a jaw-dropping two million views.

How can I make a quick and easy carbonara?

A CHEF has revealed the secret to making a perfect carbonara every time – and you only need five ingredients.

Italian Massimo Bianchi shared his recipe with Gourmet Traveler, emphasizing the importance of eating it immediately after cooking.

To make the famous Italian dish, which dates back to Ancient Rome, Massimo says all you need is Guanciale (Italian cured pork cheek), eggs (3 whites, six yolks), spaghetti, parmesan and pecorino cheese.

And if you’re struggling to get your hands on Guanciale, then pancetta is a perfectly good substitute and can be found in most supermarkets.

The only additional ingredient you need is some olive oil.

Massimo says you should start by sautéing your Guanciale or pancetta in olive oil until crispy.

Separate the yolks and whites and, in a bowl, mix them before combining 25g of pecorino and 25g of parmesan – adding black pepper to taste.

Cook about 500g of spaghetti in salted water and drain, reserving some of the cooking water.

Add the pasta to the egg and cheese mixture, as well as the cooked meat – add the cooking water if the mixture is sticky.

Serve immediately.

A third commented: “I would start working 24 hour shifts.”

At the same time, many were concerned that Jackie had not properly washed the frying pan before cooking.

Have you ever washed this pan?

One user wrote: “You didn’t wash the pan first.”

A second chimed in: “Anyone else going to talk about the frying pan before adding anything??”

While another person asked: “Have you washed that pan yet?”

In response, Jackie clapped her hands and wrote: “Yes, I do.”
