IS CEREAL ONLY FOR BREAKFAST OR CAN IT BE EATEN WITH ANY MEAL?
It’s something food fans love to disagree about, but one woman’s “tasty cereal” recipe could be the way to enjoy food no matter the time of day.
On TikTok, the foodie showed off the dinner, which she dubbed “tasty cereal” and the internet went crazy over it.
So what is savory cereal?
You can put practically anything on the plate, but the secret is that everything should be small.
Into a large Yorkshire pudding, the foodie added mini stuffing balls, potato popsicles, chicken popsicles and mini chicken kievs.
“I’m going to drown them all in sauce,” the foodie said before pouring thick sauce over the food.
“And the problem is, it has an edible bowl,” she added.
Once smothered in sauce, other foodies couldn’t get over the food’s appearance and many said they would make their own version at home.
The video quickly went viral online and currently has over 1.5 million views.
One person commented: “What a concept, my God!”
A second agreed: “This is the best invention ever, thank you.”
A third commented: “This is genius, how has a beige food connoisseur like me never thought of this?
“You changed my life.”
And another said: “Savory cereal?! Girl, you opened my eyes, eating tonight.”
“I will eat tasty cereal for the rest of my days,” wrote another person.
Meanwhile, others suggested adding some other bite-sized circular foods.
“I think this would benefit from some vegetables, peas are best because they are circular, but maybe carrot slices,” one said.
But the foodie disagreed and responded: “It would be beneficial nutritionally, yes, but sometimes a beige meal every now and then is good.”
Even Heinz suggested a different version and commented: “Beans, not sauce, please.”
