LOOK, we all know this weather isn’t screaming summer.

But why should our beloved summer traditions — like cocktails and a picnic — be dashed because it’s the wettest July in decades?

We spend all year looking forward to summer so we can drink outside with friends.

But with these seemingly endless baths, perhaps we need to bring this British tradition into our living rooms.

And to support that message, Aldi has launched all new cans of cider cocktails.

It already has Old Hopking, Greyson’s and Stefanoff 99p cans of mojitos, martinis and G&Ts.

Now, you can add cider cocktails to your list of must-try tinnies, thanks to Aldi putting Taurus cider cocktails in its drinks aisle.

They also cost 99 cents and have been dubbed “the perfect weekend treat.”

Flavors include passion fruit, pina colada and raspberry.

Gourmets have assured that the flavors will not disappoint either.

As always, if you’re enjoying a drink, remember to drink responsibly.

Aldi’s social media team took to Instagram to praise the new flavored tinnies.

I work at M&S and customers are crazy about new cocktails – including a blood orange margarita perfect for summer

“Toast the weekend with our new Taurus cocktail cans, available in Raspberry Mojito, Passion Fruit Martini and Pina Colada flavors,” they wrote.

“Which ones are you going to get?”

Sarah Davis commented: “I loved the passion fruit one.”

Amanda Uwin added: “I bought it yesterday.

When is the best time to shop at Aldi?

WHEN it comes to shopping at Aldi, the best time to do so depends on what you want to buy.

For reduced items – when stores open

Items with red stickers are rare across Aldi’s 830 UK stores, but the supermarket says none of its food goes to waste, so there are some to be found – if you’re quick.

A spokesperson for the supermarket said: “All items are reduced to 50 per cent of the recommended retail price before stores open at their best time or best before date.”

This means you’ll have a better chance of finding reduced-price foods if you go to stores as soon as they open.

Opening hours vary depending on the store, but most open from 7am or 8am. You can find the hours of your nearest store using the supermarket online store finder tool.

For special purchases – Thursdays and Sundays

Special Buys are Aldi’s weekly collection of items that it doesn’t normally sell, which can range from pizza ovens to power tools.

New stock arrives in stores every Thursday and Sunday, so naturally these are the best days to visit for the best one-off specials.

For an even better chance of bagging the best items, head to your local store during opening hours.

However, you don’t need to go to stores to buy a Specialbuy.

They are also on sale online, usually at midnight on Thursday and Sunday, and you can order them up to a week in advance.

As long as you spend at least £25, items will be delivered free of charge.

Remember: once they’re gone, they’re gone, so if there’s something you really want, visit asap

“The pina colada is great.”

Laura Pritchett repeated: “I bought mine today.

“The raspberry mojito is lovely, so refreshing.”

However, Aldi’s social media team has warned that these cider cocktail flavors are Specialbuys – meaning they are limited edition.

So, you need to be quick if you want to prove it.
