FOOD, rejoice! Aldi has announced the return of one of its most popular condiments just in time for summer.

The best part is that you can fill your cart without breaking the bank because it only costs 89 cents.

The budget retailer is known for offering customers great deals, from mid-aisle bargains to food and drink buys you won’t want to miss.

So when shoppers found out that Aldi’s Bacon Mayo was back in stores, they were understandably happy.

And it’s not just the classic Bacon Mayo you can find.

There’s also Caramelized Onion Mayo and Smokey Bacon Ketchup – perfect for summer barbecues or just adding flavor to your weeknight dinner.

An Aldi spokesperson said: “Aldi’s Bacon Mayo, as well as other flavors from this mayonnaise range, are available in stores now for just 89 cents.

“Bacon Mayo arrives as Heinz launches new Smokey Bacon Ketchup, but Aldi’s classic twist is 51% cheaper (based on 250ml).

“With bacon being a popular breakfast staple for years, along with the popularity of mayonnaise, Aldi’s Bacon Mayo is the perfect combination and has been brought back to shelves after popular demand.”

Shoppers are already going crazy for its return on social media, with one foodie sharing a Photograph in the reach On Instagram.

And with sauce connoisseurs taking to the comments to praise the variety, one said: “Who has the sauce!”

“Bacon mayonnaise is amazing on burgers,” exclaimed a second.

And that’s not the only Aldi bargain that shoppers have been praising recently. The supermarket recently launched a flat bottle of wine in a plastic bottle that’s perfect for weekends away.

An Aldi fan took to social media to share the discovery produced by Chapter & Verse for the store.

She said: “What’s going on, Aldi?

“Wine bottles, plastic like that for you to keep in your suitcase!

“So if any of you are going on stag do’s, girls’ nights out, stag do’s, holidays and want to pack some booze…

“Now you have these bottles that are plastic and lie flat!

“How clever is that? This is a Shiraz.”

Wendy added that she couldn’t find the Chardonnay and thinks it might be out of stock, but bought the red as soon as she saw it.

“I mean, this is pure genius!” she concluded.

When is the best time to shop at Aldi?

WHEN it comes to shopping at Aldi, the best time to do so depends on what you want to buy.

For reduced items – when stores open

Items with red stickers are rare across Aldi’s 830 UK stores, but the supermarket says none of its food goes to waste, so there are some to be found – if you’re quick.

A spokesperson for the supermarket said: “All items are reduced to 50 per cent of the recommended retail price before stores open at their best time or best before date.”

This means you’ll have a better chance of finding reduced-price foods if you go to stores as soon as they open.

Opening hours vary depending on the store, but most open from 7am or 8am. You can find the hours of your nearest store using the supermarket online store finder tool.

For special purchases – Thursdays and Sundays

Special Buys are Aldi’s weekly collection of items that it doesn’t normally sell, which can range from pizza ovens to power tools.

New stock arrives in stores every Thursday and Sunday, so naturally these are the best days to visit for the best one-off specials.

For an even better chance of bagging the best items, head to your local store during opening hours.

However, you don’t need to go to stores to buy a Specialbuy.

They are also on sale online, usually at midnight on Thursday and Sunday, and you can order them up to a week in advance.

As long as you spend at least £25, items will be delivered free of charge.

Remember: once they’re gone, they’re gone, so if there’s something you really want, visit asap
