The budget supermarket’s range of uniquely flavored Taurus cider cans has been a hit with foodies so far this year.

The Pina Colada, Raspberry Mojito and Passion Fruit Martini cocktail flavors are already sold out in some stores, just two weeks after their launch.

But fear not, as now you can choose even crazier flavors.

Aldi has launched all new cans of Taurus cider flavored with lemon sherbert, strawberry lace and even bubble gum.

Brits with a sweet tooth looking to enjoy a drink that reminds them of their favorite childhood treats are naturally delighted.

Karen Meredith shared on Instagram that the sherbert lime-flavored cider is “delicious,” while Hayley Trub dubbed it “lovely and refreshing.”

Each 330ml can costs just 99 cents.

There’s Taurus Strawberry Flavored English Cider, Taurus Gum Flavored English Pear Cider, and Taurus Lemon Sorbet Flavored English Cider.

Aldi’s social media team took to Instagram to show off the aesthetic cans.

“I have this all ready for our week off,” commented content creator Kirsty.

“Raising the bar every day”, joked Rio Bravo.

“They look beautiful,” added Caroline Archer.

With an alcohol volume of 3.4%, they are also less alcoholic than traditional ciders – which can reach 12%.

The British weather so far this summer has been quite disruptive.

NHS guidelines on alcohol consumption

According to the NHS, regularly drinking more than 14 units of alcohol per week can harm your health.

To keep the health risks of alcohol at a low level if you drink most weeks:

  • men and women are advised not to drink more than 14 units per week regularly
  • spread your consumption over 3 or more days if you regularly drink up to 14 units per week
  • If you want to cut back, try going several days without drinking a week.

If you are pregnant or think you may become pregnant, the safest approach is not to drink alcohol to keep the risks to your baby to a minimum.

So when the sun finally decides to visit our little island, Brits are likely to flock to local parks and seasides en masse to soak up the sunshine.

Today, the Met Office revealed the exact date when summer heat will return to the UK.

Weather maps are turning orange, with temperatures reaching 25C in some parts of the country later this week.

Met Office meteorologist Alex Burkill said: “For many, Wednesday looks like a pretty decent day.

“Lots of sunny weather to start with.”

He also added that “more good weather” is expected on Thursday, especially in the southeast “because here we will be under the influence of high pressure”.

Weather maps show that Thursday can also expect highs of 25C in parts of the country – just like Friday.
