SOMETIMES nothing hits the target like a piece – or a few – of Toblerone.

The favorite chocolate bars, first created in the Swiss city of Bern in 1908, are known for their iconic triangular peaks and lovely crunch.

People have been discussing how to break the triangle-shaped treat for years – while some insist it takes pulling, others think it’s too much effort.

Fortunately, one mother – who claims to be a “chocolate expert” – came to the rescue and ended the debate once and for all.

Taking to TikTok, savvy mom Amy (@me_plus_3_nuggets), demonstrated how she and her family appreciate the delicious sweet.

According to the chocolate fan, foodies shouldn’t pull on the mini triangle to break it – instead, Amy advised squeezing the two together.

The impact makes the piece separate much more easily, explained the mother in her video.

Posting a revolutionary trick, Amy admitted she was also shocked by it at first.

”I was surprised when I found out.”

Since being uploaded to the platform, the video has taken the internet by storm, earning Amy more than 415,000 views in just three days.

Dozens of fellow chocolate lovers took to the comments to share their thoughts, with many thanking Amy for the discovery.

One person laughed: “We got my grandfather the giant one in the 90s and he had to use a hammer.”

Someone chimed in: ”What an amazing hack! I will definitely try this.

A third also couldn’t wait to try, writing: ”Nahhhhhhh These are the hardest things to break!!! Thanks!!!”

“I’ve been doing this for years,” wrote a fourth.

”I thought everyone knew this?” a fellow TikTok user asked.

How to Save Money on Chocolate

WE all love a bit of chocolate every now and then, but you don’t need to spend a lot to buy your favorite bar.

Consumer reporter Sam Walker reveals how to cut costs…

Go private label – If you don’t care too much about the taste and just want to satisfy your chocolate cravings, you’ll save money by buying the supermarket’s own brand bars.

Go shopping – if you found your favorite variety in the supermarket, check if it is cheaper elsewhere.

Sites like Trolley.co.uk let you compare product prices across all the major chains to see if you’re getting the best deal.

Beware of yellow stickers – supermarket staff put yellow, and sometimes orange and red, stickers on products to show that they have been reduced.

They usually do this if the product is nearing its expiration date or if the packaging is slightly damaged.

Buy bigger bars – most of the time, but not always, chocolate is cheaper per 100g the larger the bar.

So if you have an appetite and are going to buy a large amount of chocolate anyway, it’s better to buy bigger.

Iconic flavor arriving in stores

Chocolate lovers were delighted to discover a rare Toblerone flavor was being sold again at Tesco, The Sun previously reported.

The smooth golden caramel edition offers the iconic crunchy nougat of a classic Toblerone with caramelized white chocolate flavor.

The news was revealed in a post on NewfoodsUK Facebook group along with a photo of the candy.

The golden caramel flavor was previously launched as a limited edition product in 2022 and cost £6.26 for 360g.

Shoppers can now find it at Asda for £4.00 – and you can buy all Toblerones for £6 at rival Tesco.
