AN OLYPICAL gymnast has left beauty fans stunned, and it’s not because she has just won her third gold medal at the 2024 Games.

The Olympian dissected her routine to Peopleand you’ll be happy to know that your favorite products won’t break the bank.

In fact, she’s a big fan of Makeup Forever and swears by her lip liners for a pout.

“I’ve been using Make Up For Ever Anywhere Caffeine [lip liner] and makeup forever, wherever, nut [lip liner],” she says.

Your perfect pout is achieved by using the darkest shade around the lips and the lightest shade on the inside, she explained.

But any lip wouldn’t be complete without a gloss, and Suni uses Ole Henrikson Pout Preserve Moisturizing Peptide Lip Treatment or Hailey Bieber’s Rhode Brand Salty Tan Peptide Lip Treatment.

Instead of mascara, the gymnast prefers eyelash extensions so as not to run the risk of smudging or tearing the mascara.

In her viral video, Suni also showed how she achieves her slicked back bun, and the key is Göt2B Styling Glue.

To get all the product out of her hair, she double shampoos with Kérastase products.

“Doing my eyebrows is my favorite part of my makeup routine, I feel like it makes the biggest difference,” she said on TikTok before applying clear eyebrow gel to set everything in place.

Speaking to Allure, Suni also revealed that she is also a fan of TikTok’s latest beauty trend – Biodance Bio-Collagen face masks.

And when it comes to keeping your skin glowing, the Sol De Janeiro body oil does the trick.

But to avoid it being too slippery, something no gymnast would like, she revealed that she always applies it the night before so that it has time to be well absorbed into the skin.

The Minnesota native is also a huge skincare fanatic.

SkinMedica’s exfoliating cleanser and Innisfree Daily UV Defense SPF 36 sunscreen can be found in your beauty bag.

Responding to her viral video, beauty fans were impressed by her natural yet glowing appearance.

One said: “You are so cute!! So natural.”

“So stunning, I love the blush so much,” said a second.

And a third chimed in: “So beautiful, I need a hair tutorial!”

Beauty secrets of current Olympic athletes

Jordan Chiles
The American gymnast has a 26-step makeup routine that includes 15 different products.

To ensure her makeup lasts through every performance, she uses foundation, concealer, primers, eyeshadows, lip oils and liners, blush, contour, and brows included

Jordan, who has a few hours to prepare before competing, will also pay extra attention to her eye area, using eyeshadow primer and setting powder, both from Fenty Beauty.

The gymnast then adds these products to the inner corners of the eyes for a brightening effect that looks good in the spotlight during matches.

Simon Biles
Preparation is key for Simone, who starts using Milk Makeup’s Hydro Grip Primer, £18 for 10ml and £35 for 45ml.

She then applies concealer, foundation, liquid eyeliner and mascara, before using two different setting sprays.

The gold medalist uses ONE/SIZE On ‘Til Dawn Mattifying Waterproof Setting Spray, £30, first, and then Ben Nye Final Seal Matte Makeup Sealer, which costs £25.20 on Amazon.

Simone was also caught wiping off her sweat with powder.

Lina Nielsen
She’s a 400m sprinter for Great Britain, which means she’ll know a thing or two about always being race-ready.

To help prevent breakouts caused by dirt and sweat, Lina will use a hypochlorous acid spray.

She also removed the products she would normally use and kept her skincare routine super simple.

On race day, Lina will moisturize more than usual to keep her skin protected.

She will always use a primer before wearing makeup to ensure everything stays in place.

How do they do their hair?

Expert trichologists at Philip Kingsley share their top tips on how to look after your hair like an Olympic champion

  • Hair Mask with Cap: Wearing the cap means your hair is protected but also hydrated, so you get the benefits of a leave-in treatment at the same time! The uniquely creamy, conditioning formula – originally formulated for US Olympic synchronized swimming team — treats and protects hair from dryness and the harmful effects of the sun, sea, chlorine and UV, helping to keep locks nourished and hydrated.
  • Hair care during exercise:
Pre-shampoo conditioning masks are great to use while exercising, so why not put it in your hair before tying it into a tight ponytail – like the one we saw Keeley rock last night! (Elasticizer)
Detangle your hair afterwards, as it can become tangled during the session, and wash with shampoo and conditioner suitable for your hair texture.
If your scalp is itchy after a workout session, use a soothing antimicrobial shampoo, such as Shampoo for flaky/itchy scalp.
  • Training for work
Philip Kingsley Dry Shampoo is available for the days when you go straight from training to the office, giving your hair back days of life and absorbing oil.
