Kyra doesn’t need to spend a lot to look her best.

She shared in a New York Magazine interview some of her favorite products she “can’t live without.”

They ranged from beauty to well-being.

The Maxxine actress revealed that there is one item she has started implementing into her hair care routine to reduce hair loss.

“Rosemary oil is supposed to stimulate hair growth, so I started adding about ten drops to my shampoo,” she said.

She adds Cliganic organic rosemary essential oil, $7.99, which can be purchased on Amazon.

It also acts as a body oil and aromatherapy diffuser.

Kyra admitted that it was recommended by her friend Linda Wolff, who previously owned a “little boutique on the Upper West Side.”

The reason the 58-year-old said she started doing this is because “apparently your hair texture changes every seven years.

“And I believe that,” she added.

Kyra explained that she still has a lot of hair, but as she’s gotten older, her “hair shaft has been minimized and there’s more shedding.”

“I love the smell and I feel like my hair loves it,” she added.

The actress has been using this method for about three months and was impressed with the results.

“I definitely experience less hair loss in the shower,” she said.

Kyra also felt there needed to be a broader conversation about women’s health issues.

“Personally, I think we don’t talk enough about women’s hair loss or change, along with many women’s health issues,” she said.

She called her rosemary oil routine a “natural way that can help.”

Many professionals have discussed the benefits of rosemary oil.

Milk + Blush hair expert Nicole Petty told The US Sun that rosemary has “high antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties.”

This makes it a great natural ingredient for “growing, cleansing and conditioning” hair and follicles.
