A MAKEUP fan shared a technique that keeps her products locked in, regardless of the weather.

She revealed that a $6 purchase was the key to the beauty trick.

Editor Ashleymaariexo shared the makeup tip in a post.

Although she admitted that the routine could irritate her sensitive skin, she swears by it.

“It’s probably not the best thing for my skin, but I use (specifically) Tresemmé Tres Two Strength 4 Moisture Control Hairspray as a makeup setting spray,” she said.

Although she tried other products, she revealed that none worked the way they did. Tresemmehe did.

“Other hairsprays don’t work the same way,” she said.

“I swear you can spend all day in hot, rainy weather and come home looking like you just did your makeup.”

The Redditor explained that she learned the technique back in the day as a synchronized swimmer.

“I learned the trick when I did synchronized swimming!” she said.

“But we used that got2b freezing spray, which might work better than Botox, lmao,” she joked.

“Not only was your makeup intact, but you couldn’t even move your face.”

She added that hairspray does a lot of the heavy lifting when she has a full face of makeup on.

“I only use it when I do my full makeup routine, which is serum, moisturizer, primer, stick foundation mixed with a little liquid foundation, powder 1, bronzer 1, powder 2, highlighter, bronzer 2 and blender,” she said.

“When I use hairspray, there’s a really big barrier between it and my face, haha.”

Another trick she learned was super effective for clearing her skin when she wanted to get rid of it all.

She developed the useful trick during a date.

“Oh, also another really weird ‘makeup tip’ I recently discovered. I was at this guy’s house and I didn’t want to take my makeup off on his white towels.” she said.

“All I had in my bag was a single Vagisil Wipe.

“I took off ALL my makeup with one wipe (I usually need at least 3 due to the strength of my makeup after the hairspray trick above).”

Not only that, but the scarf left her skin “smoothed, fresh and invigorated.”

“I’m actually taking one to my dermatologist next week to see if I can replace my makeup wipes with these for good,” she said.
