WE all love Aldi for their fabulous mid-aisle bargains, right?
There’s everything from garden accessories and tools to children’s toys – but now, Aldi’s latest beauty buys have left shoppers overjoyed.
So, if you are a beauty fan and want healthy skin, hair and nails, you’ve come to the right place.
And especially if you’re looking for something that will make you look and feel younger, then Aldi has just the thing.
Thanks to the beloved supermarket, you can now get a high-strength collagen powder for just £8.99.
Aldi took to social media to show off the new Specialbuy, leaving many speechless.
Alongside the post, the chain wrote: “Our Lacura High Strength Collagen with Vitamin C, Zinc and Biotin is the perfect way to boost your beauty routine.
“With 8,000mg of collagen per serving, we’re rushing to stock up!”
There are two different flavors to choose from – Tropical or Mixed Berry – and at just £8.99 each, we think they’re a real bargain.
These cheap powders help in the formation of collagen in the skin.
Collagen is the main structural protein, composed of amino acids, found in the skin and other connective tissues, and is widely used in its purified form for cosmetic surgical treatments.
Collagen provides structure, support and strength to the skin, muscles and bones.
Supports hair, skin and nail health while making you look and feel younger.
As we age, our collagen decreases – but with Aldi’s collagen supplement, you’ll get a whopping 8,000mg of this stuff per serving.
What is collagen?
- Collagen is the most abundant protein in the human body and provides strength and structure to the skin and muscles
- Plays a significant role in maintaining skin elasticity and hydration
- As we age, collagen production decreases, causing wrinkles, sagging and decreased skin firmness.
- Collagen production begins to decline between the ages of 20 and 30. At 40, it fell drastically
It’s important to note that while collagen-based skin products can offer benefits, their effectiveness can vary greatly.
Some experts suggest that topical collagen application may have limited effectiveness compared to other skincare ingredients that stimulate collagen production in the skin.
The 154g box contains 14 servings of 11g each, and you’ll be pleased to know they’re cruelty free.
The chain wrote: “All of our private label cosmetics, personal care products and household products are certified cruelty-free.”
