Sharing a Follow publish To reveal the long-awaited results, Ellie begins: “If anyone tells you that you need expensive makeup to perform well, they’re lying to you, okay? The proof is in the pudding.”

The beauty genius then reveals which photo was which product, before adding that not a single person got the photo right which was Charlotte Tilbury.

Starting with D, she reveals it was the ‘Essence Magic Filter Glow Booster’, which retails for £3.95.

“You can’t tell me that all those photos didn’t look the same,” she says.

“They had slight differences, but you could easily buy this if your budget was £5 or less and it would look like you were using the Charlotte Tilbury Flawless Filter.

Next above, she reveals that A was in fact the real deal, selling for £39.

“Not a single person got the photo right as Charlotte Tilbury, which really proves that you don’t need to spend a lot of money and buy these expensive products,” she says.

“Yes, this is one of the originals, but if you can get an idiot who does the same thing…get the idiot.”

Ellie goes on to say that almost everyone was guessing B or C, saying they preferred the look of both.

She notes that B was the Collection Filter Finish, which costs £7.99.

“So this is the Medium 3 shade,” she explains.

“As you can see, it’s a lot darker than the rest of them, but it’s still exactly the same.

How to Save Money on Beauty Product Shopping

IF your purse is tighter than ever and you want to save money on your makeup routine, have you considered trying beauty hacks?

“I think that’s the only notable difference I could tell and that was the fact that this one was a little darker than all the others, but other than that it does exactly the same thing.”

She adds: “Obsessed with Collection Cosmetics, they are phenomenal at affordable makeup products.”

The beauty fan then reveals that C, which she says 90% of people say looks the best, was Elf’s Halo Glow Liquid Filter, which retails for £14.

“This gives the most coverage of them all,” she notes.

“But this one was 10/10, 100% the fan favorite.”
