Essence (@enhancedbyessence) shared Dollar Tree DIY tips in a viral TikTok video.

“Girl, you don’t need to spend a lot of money on fancy decor,” she said.

She went shopping at the local Dollar Tree and bought fake pink flowers, a gift box and some Styrofoam for $1.25 each.

The supplies only cost her a total of $3.75.

Back home, she put all the supplies out on the porch and started painting her gift box with black paint.

She noted that viewers can opt for whatever color they want.

Then she painted her plastic flowers a deeper shade of pink.

Essence opened the gift box, filled it with Styrofoam and placed the cut flowers she had purchased inside.

Taking a printed Tom Ford logo, she glued it to the front of her gift box with some GOT2B hairspray.

“Guys, I ran out of glue, but guess what? If you can hold a wig, you can hold some paper,” she joked.

“Miss Boujee on a budget.”

People thanked him for his creative project idea and praised his immediate thinking.

“That G2B eliminated me, but hey, it worked,” said one commenter.

“Lmao, improv at its best!” Essence said.

“That was cute; get that hairspray!” said another.

“I know it’s right! I love being a DIY girl more than anything else,” said a third.

“Ouuu sis, you’re right! This is cute,” said a fourth.

Some viewers said she inspired them to run, not walk, to the nearest store.

“This isn’t me going back to Dollar General,” said one commenter.

“I need to do this,” said another.
