“I’ve been dealing with really bad dark circles pretty much my whole life and I’ve always seen on Google that sweet almond oil helps.
“But I didn’t bother trying for years because it seemed silly.”
So she finally tried.
“I’ve been applying it every night before bed for the past week and my dark circles have practically disappeared. It’s incredible,” she said.
The original poster was grateful for the tip, telling her, “Thank you so much! I’ll definitely have to try this!”
Several other women in the thread chimed in with their own tips.
“Honestly, I’ve tried every fancy eye cream out there and the only thing that makes a noticeable difference is increasing your water intake and sleeping on your back,” said one.
“In the morning, I use an eye mask that has been refrigerated. Eye creams with caffeine may make a difference for an hour or two, but they don’t make a lasting difference,” they added.

Consider taking supplements, another Redditor suggested.
“If you’re young, get enough sleep, and this is something you see come and go, you might try taking a daily allergy pill like Allegra or Claritin and a good daily multivitamin,” they said.
But one commentator tried all the remedies.
“Genetic dark circles here. I’ve tried everything. The only thing that works for me is makeup,” they admitted.
