A MAKEUP lover has covered a beauty trick popularized by none other than Ms. Jenny from the Block.
When she tried Jennifer Lopez’s foundation painting contouring technique, she sculpted her jawline and made her skin glow.

She tried out a contouring technique used by JLo’s real makeup artist, Scott Barnes.
She demonstrated in a Instagram Reel how she did the “bulb method with one side of underpainting”, giving a step-by-step tutorial.
The blonde first applied a thick layer of concealer “in a lifting position” under her eyes, around her nose, on her forehead and chin.

Like the pop star, she used the Nars Radiant Creamy ConcealerUS$32, in the shade of Café Au Lait.
“The concealer really suits her skin. It doesn’t illuminate, but it standardizes everything and perfects everything first,” she said.
Victoria then blended it with a thick blush until it matched her skin tone.
Jennifer uses a cream to contour, so the beauty fan copied her and used the Makeup Forever All-in-One Face Palettewhich retails for $88.

She drew thick, burnt orange stripes around her forehead, just above her cheekbones and down her nose before completely covering her chin and chin.
Victoria advised “going a little higher than your cheekbone” to get the look you want.
The “bulb” technique is where it darkens under the chin so it doesn’t “light up.”
Another unique aspect was how she brought the contour around the lips for a plumped effect that makes the lips appear “fuller.”
She explained that it was okay to go “too intense” because the next step was to cover everything with foundation.
Be sure to “mix, mix, mix” everywhere, she advised.
Victoria imitated Jennifer’s strategy, moving the brush up and down her nose to keep the contour in place.
To finish, she added a touch of peach blush to the top of her cheeks and set with Makeup Forever Ultra HD Loose Powder$39.
Her skin shined like a star at the end of the video thanks to the underpainting method.

“I’m feeling the glow,” Victoria said.
