EVERY shower resulted in a lot of hair loss for one woman before she tried a DIY remedy.
The 27-year-old said she was “lucky” to have thick hair before stress and a lack of proper hair care triggered its extreme hair loss.

She revealed how she restored her hair in a post on Reddit’s Haircare forum using the handle u/andromeda_bug.
She shared a photo of her thinning tresses in October, a photo of how much hair fell out each time it was washed, and a recent photo showing the regrowth.
“I’ve always had really thick hair and generally had really good luck with it,” she said.
“That luck ended last year when I realized my hair was very thin. I had a fraction of the hair I used to have.
“Plus, I was losing a ridiculous amount of hair in the shower. Like a thick palm every time I washed it.
“My hair was falling out like crazy after washing too. My hair was EVERYWHERE, all over my house and clothes.
“I also noticed that my hairline on both sides was seriously receding and that the rest of my hair was just covering these almost bald areas.
“It’s safe to say I was panicking.”

The woman said she saw TikTok users raving about how rosemary oil helped with their hair loss.
She started mixing a few drops of rosemary oil with castor oil and applied it to her hairline using a mascara wand.
She would leave the mixture in her hair for at least half a day before washing it to promote growth and thickness.
“I started around December, but only consistently in February,” she said.
“The results in this short space of time were crazy, to the point that I forgot how bad it was.
“I hardly lose hair in the shower now.
“My hairline is growing, my bald baby hairs are now THICK and my hair is generally much thicker!!
“People also commented on it. Honestly, I’m shaken.”
A number of responses to the post thanked the woman for sharing her results and shared their experiences using rosemary oil for hair growth.
“I’ve been doing this forever for my thinning hair and it works!!” one person said.
“I also add castor oil with my rosemary and it makes a HUGE difference!! Plus my hair has never been this thick EVER.”
