She’s been using her tried-and-true formula since she was 14.

For her, she’s in no rush to change her hair care routine because it works for her.

Her hair is noticeably longer and she was happy to share her secret further.

She was responding to a desperate cry for help on Reddit.

“Is there anything proven to help hair grow?” a user asked on publish.

She admitted she tried everything – supplements, vitamins, masks, treatments – but with little success.

Her hair was in such bad shape that she decided the best option was to take drastic measures.

“My hair was really damaged, so I had to get some cut recently,” she said.

While it was probably a good decision, she was desperate for shorter hair.

“I’m really missing this length and want advice on what can help with hair growth,” she said.

I transformed my short hair into long, luscious locks in less than a year thanks to the £8 hair-thickening trick my grandmother trusted

“I know nothing is going to make it grow like a foot overnight, but literally anything that will speed up the process, even if it’s just a little bit,” she said, desperate for help.

She came to the right place looking for a solution because a commenter had the answer.

Her wonderful method was surprisingly simple, but she said it worked.

“Scalp massage, I swear,” one Reddit user revealed in the post.

“When I was 14, I wanted that regular hair with a shaved side, but my mom wouldn’t let me,” she explained.

“So I would brush the hair on one side of my head every day for seven to nine months and tie it up at the back to look like I had the side of my head shaved.”

But little did she know that it would have a miraculous effect on her hair growth.

“After a while, I noticed that the side I brushed every day had noticeably longer hair,” she wrote.

The results were so incredible that she incorporated it into her regular hair routine.

“Now I only use a massager when I wash my hair or massage with my fingers if I apply oil,” she revealed.

In other posts, Redditors gave even more tips for stimulating hair growth.

“Drinking plenty of water, meeting ALL your nutritional needs, making your heart beat faster, maintaining very good posture, sleeping well and breathing well” is the secret, said one person.

Meanwhile, a beauty guru has relied on a South Asian remedy that requires brushing your hair every night with a wide-toothed comb and applying a homemade rosemary and peppermint spray to your scalp.
