WITH Britain’s unpredictable weather, it’s hard to say when many of us will finally be able to achieve that long-awaited natural tan.

But if you want to fake it until you make it, then you might just want to listen… because a self-confessed serial tanner named Leah has shared her very honest verdict.

In a clip shared on TikTok (@_leaherin), she starts with Bondi Sands Self-Tanning Foam in the Dark, which she rates just 4/10.

Explaining why she gave it such a low score, she notes that she’s not a fan of the smell or the green tint, or the “patchy” finish it claims it gives.

Not stopping there, she warns that it’s difficult to get out and will likely leave you with an orange tint.

Then there’s the St Moriz 1-Hour Quick Tan Mousse, which Leah gives a much more respectable score of 7/10.

Although it is old, she claims it is always “reliable” and gives a “lovely bronze” tan.

However, while she praises the fact that it rarely gets patchy, she warns that it fades quickly.

Then there’s the Tanologist Express Self-Tanning Water, which Leah gives just 4/10.

She notes that it’s a nightmare to miss a spot because this particular tan isn’t ideal for those who want a spot-on look.

The beauty fan then moves on to Isle of Paradise’s Clear Dark Glow Self-Tanning Mousse, which she points out isn’t ideal for “lazy tanners.”

In addition to stating that it “disappears quickly,” she adds, “If you miss a spot, you’re doomed.”

I love using fake tan but hate the mess it leaves on my sheets – £1.50 wonder product gets it right, cheap and effective

Leah then goes on to discuss the classic St Tropez Tanning Mousse Self Tanner, which she gives 6/10.

She points out that it stays on for 48 hours, but recommends that people be careful when applying it, as it can stick to knees, elbows and wrists.

The beauty genius then reveals her top tan, which is the Solait self-tanning mousse which she rates 10/10 and can be bought at Superdrug.

“The best tan I’ve ever used,” she raves.

“Beautiful color, lasts all week” and is “very affordable”.

Among Leah’s other favorites is the St Moriz 8/10 Clear Tanning Mousse, which she praises for lasting longer than the original version and for having “no transfer.”

And last but not least, she notes that she’s not a fan of the Bondi Sands Everyday Gradual Tanning Milk.

The best tan I’ve ever used! Beautiful color, lasts all week, so affordable

Leah

She only gives it a 2/10 and claims it’s the worst tan she’s ever used because “it takes on a horrible orange/yellow cast.”

Leah adds that this made it look like she was jaundiced for a week.

It didn’t take long for the post to go viral, racking up an impressive 430,000 views and numerous comments – with very mixed reviews.

“Superdrug tan is my Holy Grail!!” excited.

A second wrote: “I’m the only one going online to order Superdrug tan.”

A third commented: “Bondi sands are green or orange – always!”

Meanwhile, a fourth noted: “OK, Bondi Sands Aero Express… as a previous St Tropez Stan, I’ve changed and I’ve never had such a beautiful, long-lasting tan.”

Another added: “Ah thanks, I’ll try something much more affordable than St Tropez too.”

And another one chimed in: “Bondi Sands dark is the best, hello???”
