IT went viral when it was released in the United States.

And after months of waiting, beauty fans have reason to celebrate – as Olay’s Super Serum has finally hit UK shelves.

The shimmering serum contains niacinamide, vitamin C, collagen peptide, vitamin E and alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) and penetrates deep into the skin without leaving the face sticky or sticky.

It claims to help with skin texture, more even skin tone, firmer skin, smoother visible lines and offers long-lasting hydration.

And the positive reviews for the product are already arriving, with one person insisting the serum is “worth the hype.”

“That’s honestly amazing!” they added.

“I bought this two weeks ago (managed to get my hands on one before it sold out!) and my skin feels firmer, brighter and fine lines are reduced!

The importance of sunscreen in your skin care routine

Dermatologist and skincare enthusiast Andrea Suarez – known as Dray – revealed why you should wear sunscreen.

The one thing you can do that will make the biggest difference – and this is important for all ages – is to protect your skin from the sun, Andrea emphasized.

“The vast majority of external aging is due to exposure to ultraviolet radiation,” she continued, not because you “aren’t using a jazzy serum or putting 90 different things on your face every day.”

“If you’re not in your 20s, start now.”

But she said using sunscreen alone isn’t enough. Andrea recommended that you also wear sun-protective clothing, such as wide-brimmed hats and long sleeves, and not spend too much time in the sun.

Doing this throughout your life—and year-round, not just during the summer or on sunny days—”will reduce the visible signs of photoaging,” Andrea said.

These are wrinkles, confused pigmentation and sagging skin.

“Very impressed and would recommend!”

“I bought it to try and after using it for two days I ordered two more bottles,” added another.

“Firstly, the bottle is beautiful and the serum itself is a pearly, iridescent, silky serum with a light sweet fragrance.

“It’s so light and leaves the skin beautiful and soft, after a few days of use I noticed an improvement in the appearance of my skin I feel like I have more radiance and even tone, I can’t wait to see the results after using it for a longer time .

“I prefer to use it at night, however, I have oily skin and I tried it before makeup and found that my makeup didn’t last as long, but that’s my only complaint!

“It absorbs quickly and is lovely.”

And a third commented: “I’ve been using the Olay Super Serum for a month now, the bottle is so pretty and easy to use.

“Giving me the perfect amount of product for my skin, a little goes a long way.

“The product has a beautiful iridescent glow and absorbs so well into my combination skin that it keeps my skin hydrated yet lightweight without any heaviness or stickiness.

“It gives me a perfect base to layer my daytime moisturizer on top of and keeps my skin soft and glowing.”

Although the serum normally costs £39.99, it’s currently on offer for £19.99 at Boots.

However, not everyone was impressed, with one person writing: “I used this product and found it to be low quality and doesn’t do much to hydrate the skin.

“I wouldn’t pay £19.99 (initial offer price) for it, let alone the planned full price of £39.99.

“I bought better serums for £7. Save your money.”
