A beauty lover has elevated her brow look with a small change to her routine.
His easy trick would certainly raise some eyebrows — in a good way.
A Reddit user with naturally light blonde hair and matching eyebrows was desperate to make her “barely visible” eyebrows appear darker.
She explained how, after being constantly “made fun of” by friends and even family, her eyebrows became a huge “insecurity” for her.
“They didn’t appear in the photos and I even used an app to edit some,” she said.
After using the same item for a long time, she was ready to change things up.
“I spent the last six years drawing them almost every day, panicking when I ran out of pencils and getting stressed when I messed them up in a hurry,” she said.
After a friend recommended she ask about options that would make her eyebrow color last longer, she did some research.
One solution seemed to be coloring, but at a cost of $45, she was determined to find another way to get the same results.
“I found a tutorial on how to DIY dye them for about $10,” she said.

Once she decided to go for it, she grabbed a box of Just for Men Beard Touch-Ups in Blonde, Q-tips, and an eyebrow brush.
She may have been intimidated by the process at first, but it didn’t take long to implement some of her own techniques.
After using lip balm to “contour the brow and avoid staining the skin,” she poured the tinted ingredients into a bowl.
It took less than seven minutes after washing everything to see the dramatic difference.
“I had eyebrows. They look natural and make me feel normal! I woke up this morning and didn’t have to pencil them in or worry about smudging them while getting ready,” she said.
“Every time I see them, I smile! If anyone needs encouragement, give it!” she added.
It was safe to say that his confidence was as noticeable as his eyebrows.
She also shared additional tips.
If you’re debating between two shades, “pick the lighter one,” she said.
After a few minutes, just check the color after wiping off the paint.
“Just like hair dye, the color will be more intense the first few days,” she said.
She also explained how she used the cotton swab after the paint was applied for “finer modeling.”
She even plucked out a few extra strands of hair when she could see everything more clearly.
Dermatologist-Approved Anti-Aging Tips
Dermatologist Dr. Brendan Camp shared his dermatologist-approved tips with The US Sun.

- Exercise, eat a healthy diet and get enough sleep.
- Do not drink excessively or smoke.
Beard dye is ideal for use on facial features as it is “less intense” than hair dye.
She explained how you simply mix the product from the two reusable tubes.
She only used a small amount of each to get an even proportion before storing the rest for later use.
One more tip: do not use after being recently waxed.
She also made it clear that the color will fade a little in the first few days after the initial death.
If you want a darker look, simply leave the dye on longer.
“I purposely kept mine a light color, dark enough to give definition but keep it looking natural. We can’t let men know we dye our eyebrows!” she said.
She was already encouraging others to try the trick.
“Wow I feel you! My eyebrows are incredibly light and I’ve always hated it. I never thought about trying to dye them but now I’m thinking about trying,” said one user.
“Fellow blonde eyebrow owners stand up! Clever suggestion, never thought of using beard dye but this is brilliant!” wrote another Redditor.
Yet another user had their own suggestion.
“I’ve been doing this for years! Vaseline works just as well as lipstick. One box should last a year or more. Don’t use it on your eyelashes!” they said.
Just for Men Mustache and Beard Dye retails for $28.49 on Amazon.
Available in 12 shades, simple instructions include mixing the color base and developer, rinsing the product off and then shampooing.
